New info on Dora 2024 have leaked, and finally, we can confirm that Dora 2024 will be held in Zagreb, not Opatija, in 3 nights format, semi 1 × semi 2 = final 3rd night.
As Opatija's hotels limited infrastructure doesn't enable the set up of bigger stage, the seating layout for the audience is small, plus it limits a lot technical capabilities for the stage and sound mix, HRT has decided to have Dora organized in Zagreb, most likely in HRT's studios which are huge and highly advanced in terms of technology.
This also means that HRT will spare some funds it has usually spent on leasing a hotel in Opatija for a week and will be able to reallocate those funds to something more useful, production or promotion, e.g.
Croatian bubble is not only happy that it will look more professional on TV, but also of the fact that Dora will become more accessible to Eurovision fandom that could watch Dora live in the studio. In these past years Opatija's city administration would have disseminated the tickets to the people they know personally so Croatian ESC fandom has rarely had an opportunity to watch Dora from the audience. This also means less dead fish in the audience for us who watch live broadcast at home.
Also, rumour has it that this year's Misha participant, unknown to anybody, is actually AI. Yes. Somebody entered artificial intelligence character as a competitor.
It seems this is allowed as EBU failed to take official position or adopt rules re: AI in the competition on its last directors' meeting.

Happy New Year everybody! 
I was at Let 3 concert yesterday at Zagreb central square and it was packed full. People of all ages came, there was a group of pensioners in front of us asking us to watch their back so that they don't fall. And Ukrainians took the first row. 
The concert was just amazing and so professional, they had different LED animations on a backdrop for each song as it was a Eurovision stage, they changed their costumes several times, the dancers had different choreography for each song, and they played with Zagreb philharmonic orchestra. On Mama ŠČ and Ero s onoga svijeta they included a choir.
The level of sound production and mix was better than Eurovision eventhough they played live entire time. And oh boy, do Baljak and Mrle know how to play guitars, they were impecable.
This was if not the best, then in top 3 of all the concerts I've ever been to and most definitely the best act I have seen in Zagreb (including more professional and better than Red Hot Chili Peppers).
I don't know how to upload my own videos, this is a part of atmosphere I found on TWT/X
Judging by all of this, as an artist they are a full package, I really can't imagine who could be their competition on Dora 2024.

Oh, and all 24 Dora 2024 competing songs will be released by the end of this week. Dora will be held in Zagreb from 24th to 26th February.

Hahaha, IDK, most of the competing artists are a conventional kind, but when it comes to Misha, Baby Lasagna, James Night and Let 3 we already know not to expect anything "normal"
And I'm so happy about it. Dora doesn't have to be a wailing Swedish second hand snoozefest.
I'm actually excited for Dora this year for a change! Normally I suffer through it and PZE but damn the Balkan's are serving so far.
Would it be chaotic if I took a flight from London to Split via Zagreb (boooo winter) to watch it with my friend?
