My favourites are Lu Dedic, Mario Battifiaca feat. Robert Ferlin and, of course, LET 3.
But I wonder too how they will perform that live, with so much autotune...

On Eurovision it's not even allowed so they would have to make it a completely different song.

Baby Lasagna leads by far in the poll on Croatian leading web news portal.

I took the time and really listened to the songs (most of them) and it is not a good section. The only two songs that stand out for me are

Baby Lasagna - Rim tim tagi dim
Lana Mandaric – More

And yes, I am still not a fan of Let 3.

I'm not sure if autotune is not allowed yet, but I prefer to not be. I'd like to listen to the song live and know how the hell are they going to manage it.

Tumblr, mostly.
listened to a few more. I'm liking Lu. I'm liking Vatra. Robert and Mario are fun, James Night (lmfaooo :limpwrist: ) is fun, enjoying Noelle and Marcela, and Eugen as well.

This Dora is.... actually... kind of good? LMFAO @ the alt being the fave to win though. HRT really don't know what they're doing huh </3

Can you imagine, had we had Dora with 12 competitors as in past years, Baby Lasagna wouldn't have been even on the reserve list as he was 25th this year according to HRT's directors. 🤣

Now people are mad really here and they are demanding from HRT to publish the rest of the submitted entries that haven't been selected. 🤣🤣🤣

The Balkans as usual...nothing can be done without a relative or a godfather or a sponsor behind you or money. 😁

I fall in love with ET's Song, what a banger, but love also Vinko's Song which has the most potential for ESC and for a really good place. Lu, Eugen & Baby Lasagne would be also great entrys. Overall they are only a handful of good songs, the rest is ok-ish and boring. I hope Croatia pick the right choice!

If he also finds great staging options, then he's a bomb. Plus he's super charismatic.
If that's the best Europe has to present, then you all deserve to be invaded by Russia :LOL:
I hope he will finish higher than the Dutch moron tho xpray

You think the juries are going to give it a high score at Dora?
They will Rim ;) that Lasagna's ass down.

Baby Lasagna would be a phenomenal entry, tbh. That song came out of nowhere and is really instant and compelling in a chaotic and weird way. It could definitely attract televoting points in May.

I'm torn,.though because I feel like we haven't heard a decent Balkan ballad for a while (in Eurovision) and Eugen's entry is totally up my ally.

Damir ain't bad, either (if you ask me) and I like that Croatian song about Diamonds (?). Vatra are interesting, too. Dora's line-up is pretty decent even though most songs aren't that combative and wouldn't qualify in May (but you got a fair share of solid borderline qualifiers this year and that's an improvement, for sure).

But for me,.it's definitely

Baby Lasagna vs. Eugen

I have yet to listen to full songs for better impression.

But judging from listening to recap few times....

Any songs in here that strategically could achieve a good score? Perhaps.

Any songs that speak to me personally and I would listen to in my own time? Not really.

I wonder how the audience would react to Baby Lasagna. Joost has a pretty different sound than Käärijä, not so much this guy.

So I listened to everything in full.

Objectively speaking, there is definitely here more for people to dig into compared to last year selection.

For me personally though, nothing appealed that much.

The only song that somewhat did do it for me is "Plavi Leptir" but even that one I find it flawed. Primarily cause the chorus, while captivating at first, becomes one note and repetitive.
