I'm very surprised that an act like Baby Lasagna was considered as the 1st wildcard what with Croatia's government being less than socially accepting of such acts, unless they are seen as a parody such as Let 3. The state broadcaster very much appeases the Catholic majority & I've learnt an awful lot about Croatian politics and the corruption that goes hand in hand with it courtesy of knowing people in the country and hearing the stories they've told me.

I'm fully expecting a Sabor intervention of some kind should Baby Lasagna win Dora tbh

Hmm. I think what you're being fed is quite simplistic. Yes, Croatia (and HRT) is corrupt. Yes the church has a lot of power behind the scenes. Yes, the best Dora songs are usually always robbed for something more conservative (i.e. boring) however I don't think there is anything at play with social issues/government as for any perceived threat to Baby Lasagna by HRT.

If anything, I think they're only threatened by him because of his popularity and the fact that whoever the alleged corrupt juries choice will be actually has to compete against a clear televote favourite. I feel they select mediocre songs so that there is no real competition, but Baby Lasagna has changed everything and I can see HRT sabotaging his sound (which is apparent when you see the audio from inside the studio vs on tv) to try to burst the bubble.

There is nothing outwardly political in this song for Sabor to get offended by, other than people with a brain knowing they're responsible for the emigration of Croats which is the inspiration for this song. But they clearly don't care about criticism about this because it is a constant topic in the media. If anything, the government should be happy that many Croats are supporting something that took Prijovic off the top of the charts (and I listen to cajke myself haha)

I don't know anything about the political situation in Croatia but the only thing I know is the fact that Baby Lasagna was really bad like. The song is disconnected, seemed assembled by amateurs. He isn't able to keep the song vocally.

Also I would change his clothes, it screams "Käärijä from Wish" and while visually that is what he is giving the song isn't "cha cha cha from Wish" and it can succeed without the comparison.

Well if Windows95man can sing in thier underwears like Let 3 last year I don't see why Baby can't sing in similar sleeves as Käärijä.

I will comment on Semi 2 because I've watched Dora live for the first time.
Many songs were old fashioned and there was no song that instantly made me feel that it is the right song.
Baby Lasagna is someone I remember the most but his singing was bad even worse than Kaarija. It is the same category as Cha Cha Cha kinda rip-off even. But worse! Very messy.

Damir Kedzo was actually my favourite, his singing was perfect but the song feels too outdated unfortunately. A revamp is needed. He would be a great choice of Croatia if he had the right song.

Baby Lasagna has promise. Croatia will keep bringing the fun like last year, even with the new Let3 chaos too.

Baby Lasagna was my favorite before the show, but live they really were disappointing. They really need to fix the vocals, and the staging was rather a mess. Hm. Actually none other song really excited me - Damir's vocals were great, but the song is meh.
So Croatia should probably still go with B. Lasagna, but they need to work on the staging.

I don't think Baby Lasagne was THAT bad or maybe I didn't have high expections. But clearly it needs a lot of fixing. The worst part are the outfits and the overall color scheme of the staging.

In my mind Baby Lasagne should go for baby pastel colors and combine it with stereotype badboy rock stuff like black leather.

He has to win first.
Everybody is talking about Croatia and HRT, but tbh I'm concerned about international juries as well. There are some, well most , that I'm worried about.
Do we know anything about who is in those juries?

Well I thought Lasagna was good. I saw it live and he sounded way better than he did in the show. Actually, I thought he was the best.
Also, some of you Croats are talking about some alternative Croatia because we have actually not straight contestants that are in the final pick and then there's Lasagna who is engaged to a woman and a straight rocker so what you're even on about is beyond me.

I listened to all entries from Dora live. Is It Baby Lasagna the best option for Croatia this year? Yes. Is Baby Lasagna's in winning contention for Eurovision? No. But it will still be fun watching to that performance and he will definitely qualify. So yeah... Croatia should send him at all costs. The only other option is Marcela.

I don't think Baby Lasagna sounded bad live, just not powerful enough, like the backing track was louder. Nothing that can't be fixed with proper sound mix. The staging though, I hope they come up with a different concept in May (manifesting a win for tomorrow).
