I don't really get the point of that label theory. It doesn't give you any clue about how juries and televoters will vote imho.

Let's look at he Youtube viewing numbers for example, LET 3 and Hamonija have got a clear lead there. Damir Kedžo is close behind. So these look like the televoting favourites to me.

Actually I really like the short instrumental/ beat section in the second part of Nevera. In general I became more and more convinced that this is the right choice for since yesterday!

I was finally able to listen to all songs (whilst reading some papers) and I really like all four songs - Let 3 and Harmonija Disonance would be excellent Eurovision entries, imo... I love Boris´s voice and Hana´s entry is pretty decent as well (even though I wouldn´t expect any of these two to qualify in May if I´m honest).

Let 3 - Mama šč!
Harmonija Disonance - Nevera (Lei, lei)
Boris Štok - Grijeh
Hana Mašić - Nesreća

"Bye Bye Blonde" got some guilty pleasure potential - maybe even "Free Fallin´" but the overall production sounds very demo-ish.

A few songs were absolutely horrendous (e.g. "Angels And Demons" and "Putovanje")

On second listen, Let 3 and Đana are pretty good too

but ffs, Kedžo's song is even worse than Divlji vjetre... Can't you just internally select him next time so he gets his spotlight? I'd hate to see him winning a NF again

this worries me. shane knows one of the songwriters for nevera so he's probably more privy to things regarding the nevera staging than a regular esc fan.

Oh boy, so Croatia don't suck challenge failed. The songs are stilly demo-sounding and feel like complete mess, dated or both. (Bad) English continue to plague the contest.

7 - win please
Nevera (Lei, lei): this is what Klapa s mora thought they were, fantastic combination of traditional style, good beat and current production; I like it a lot, it's something Croatia has been lacking - authenticity; can't wait to see it performed live

6 - good, could've been better
Putem snova: fresh, different, I support it, just not something I would listen to

5 - mid
Nesreća: a few rewally good moments, could be good live
Free Fallin': needs a revamp, better production and translation to her mother tongue, but overall it's not bad
Angels and Demons: not bad, it's just so mid; we know he can sing, if he only had a better song; I already know that the performance will be pure cringe with wings, horns and all

4 - almost mid
Kreni dalje: it started fine, the bridge is fine, nice voice, melody is so-so, but that unfortunate beat and background music is unbearable
Master Blaster: is it Denis & Denis inspired, it is kinda too messy, I don't like it
Grijeh: if we stopped with these kind of songs, we would have enough of them till the activation of that supervolcano; and the worst part is it's not even good representative of its own genre, at least it's produced well
Lost and Found: easily would have been competing at Jugovizija finishing mid table
Putovanje: jingle for a cooking/travelling/morning show

3 - Purgatory
Dom: why does everything sounds like someone's first try at songwriting
I Will Wait: It's giving Melodifestivalen reject, or even worse - Malta
Distance: what are these lyrics - JAIL; messy, boring, repetitive, amateurish but not in a good way

2 - Hell
Bye Bye Blonde: cringe at best
I Still Live: uneventful, boring, forgettable

Kme kme: boomers' wet dream
Mama ŠČ: just because it's supposed to be satire or whatever, doesn't mean it's funny, profound or good, but that's what one could have expected from them
