Tried to fix the broken pieces, now I'm leaving
But you made it loud and clear I’m not enough
Tried to fool me more than once to keep me dreaming
'Cause you knew the truth would tear us apart

If you pull me down then I'll come around
And rise up to come show you who I am
I feel fire inside, my heart’s desire
I'm breaking free from you

Tick-tock, watch the days go
I'm losing track of time
Lost in your playzone
Don't overcomplicate
Now we're in warzone
You're screaming, "Oh no, oh no, oh no"

Tick-tock, I'll take you dancing
In time wе might break
You think you're fancy
I play those gamеs my way and you’ll be beggin’
"Please baby, don't go, don’t go, don't go"

I hear those voices from far away
They help me to escape (Escape)
I found myself and I'm finally free from
Your bad love in every strength

Tick-tock, watch the days go
I'm losing track of time
Lost in your playzone
Don’t overcomplicate
Now we're in warzone
You're screaming, "Oh no, oh no, oh no"

Dancin', dancin'
Think you, think you fancy
Tick-tock
Don't go, don't go, don't go

I hear those voices from far away
They help me to escape (Escape)
I found myself and I'm finally free from
Your bad love in every strength

Tick-tock, vrijeme curi, gdje si više
Usne grizem, sama jedva dišem
Tick-tock vrijeme juri ne mogu više
Oh no, oh no

Tick-tock, I'll take you dancing
In time we might break
You think you're fancy
I play those games my way and you'll be beggin'
"Please baby, don't go, don't go, don't go"

Dancin', dancin'
Think you, think you fancy
Tick-tock
Don't go, don't go, don't go

Albina lip-synched most of the time though and just stood there. Her dancers were more engaging.

That didn't really come across to me.

I was kinda wondering if that moment where she was duplicated on screen took people out of the performance a bit. (like how people thought Dance You Off was too much like a music video)

This was maybe my favourite uptempo pop song tonight. So sad they didn’t make it, but I’m not surprised, most of the pop lovers might have prefered other stuff like Malta, Cyprus or Azerbaijan.

I was certain about Croatia's NQ pre-rehearsals, but then I considered them a qualifier by the snippets. Tonight watching the performances back to back I felt that Eden came shortly after Croatia, had the same staging and just blew Albina out of the water. Elena, Destiny and Azerbaijan's staging sealed the deal.

She again failed to hit those high notes to a point where it was just painful to listen to. Nonetheless I actually enjoyed the performance overall.

*sigh*

Oh well...

If nothing else, then I guess it was at least lovely that for once our entry was loved by the vast majority of the ESC community.

That doesn´t really happen often.

Regarding our elimination, I´m a bit bummed, but I´m mostly concerned that this defeat might de-motivate our broadcaster.

Quite surprised it actually failed to qualify. It was 100% certain we could not have all the female uptempo acts, but I thought Israel would be the one to be left behind.

To be honest, I preferred Albina's performance to Elena's. I agree she should stay away from high notes though, because it's not pleasant, even in the studio version.

The staging looked good to me. I'd be curious to know how it fared.

I feel heartbroken for 🇭🇷 as it was the only girl pop I liked this year and of course it is the one to stay in semi. The performance was on point, I personally found it stylish and fitting, there is nothing to be ashamed of. OK, she might not have the best vocals on the universe but come on.. It is not like Swedish Rykka does. It just feels unfair.

I knew it was over after 🇮🇱 and 🇦🇿 were announced, before the show I was hoping that 🇭🇷 would not be the unlucky one to miss the final as it was obvious that all these uptempo pop acts would not make it and at least one was about to stay in semi. I thought it would be 🇮🇱, imo it looks like an absolute non-event on stage.

Big hug to Croats who had fingers crossed tonight, you know you are not the only flop nation at the ESC, I know how it feels as I am from 🇱🇻 that has qualified twice in 12 (I think it is safe to say 13) years  xhug

But how hard did that bass slap, what the hell? Enjoyed her performance so much, was one of my favourites out of all the upbeat tracks, even though the studio version ain't my thing. She was so lively and happy... and at least you could tell she sang live during the chorus, not looking at you Azerbaijan...
