Btw, if a full 3 minute version of "Zapjevaj, sloboda je!" sounds as epic as this, i might put Toni as my winner and the two girls can have a catfight for the 2nd place.

I really like Come This Way's synthy chorus. That one sounds like it's going to be my thing. Beta's song is going down a similar route whilst packing more punch, but isn't as melodically interesting. Could give us a great live performance. Cambi's song is charming and I'm betting my life savings will be @Morocco2021's favourite here. Nina's song feels quite the obvious choice from this selection. Seems good. I'll need to hear the full version though to decide how much I like it. ToMa completes my top 5 for being cute, and having a nice jacket.

You missed the tiny little detail that only male singers have won Dora so far since it was reintroduced.

Lyrics are somewhat covid themed alluding that "this times will pass", and "you have the right to chose" or something. But even despite that I don't like the song. Toni has one of best discographies of his generation in the former Yugoslavia, and came up with this.

I guess since we've avoided La La Love, we have to avoid this as well. The song's a standard pop-rock (?) but somehow it doesn't grasp me to it. Unfortunately it might appeal to the Croatian public and run away with the televote.

Nina. All the way. This could be my favourite Croatian entry since 2009. It sounds like something which could compete for my #1 spot.

Apart from "Colors", the English songs sound rather mediocre (there's no way Croatia would be qualifying with any of them).

Okay after I listened to 1 min snippets several times, I rank like this (I think it is very good edition for now, I don't give less than 5 based on studio versions snippets )

1. Brigita Vuco - "Noći pijane" 10/10 LOL I know this is trash, but like last year a trash in Dora is my fave, just a different style..I can't believe conservative HRT allowed this ahaha, this is so popular among young in EX Yu now,..it is Senidah copy..

2. Bernarda Brunović - "Colors" 10/10 Okay, this slaps, this is the best Milanov's entry after Equinox "Bones".. I think this will be a contender after all..

3. Tony Cetinski and Kristijan Rahimovski - "Zapjevaj, sloboda je!" 10/10 after first listen it wasn't that great to me, but after several I totally fell for it, these singers are true legends..this reminds me of their songs and that is what I like, they are true to themselves..

4. Filip Rudan - "Blind" 9/10 sounds like a typical ballad, but really for me, I love this vocal tone, color of the voice..

5. Mia Negovetić - "She's Like a Dream" 9/10 I'm surprised i like this that much, but honestly this is better than MF entries this team writes for MF.. :O I know she is very good live, so this can be dangerous..

6. ToMa - "Ocean of Love" 8/10 The first part of the snippet was underwhelming, but chorus sounds as a killer, it has some schlager vibes LOL I'm curious to listen to the whole entry...

7. Cambi - "Zaljubljen" 8/10 This can be interesting to me, another one I'm curious to listen to, in full, I don't see ESC fans liking this, but who cares It is melancholic..

8. Sandi Cenov - "Kriv" 7/10 it is really typical for Sandi Cenov, I quite like it based on snippet, I love those vocals..

9. Nina Kraljić - "Rijeka" 7/10 I like it, but TBH it is not that great to me as ppl claim, and "wank" on it, if it is different, it doesn't mean it is great LOL plus it is not that original for ESC as they all claim..We already saw her in ESC with better composition IMO, but she didn't make a huge impact, her charisma and performance are not so great TBH

10. Albina - "Tick-Tock" 7/10 It is surprisingly good for this genre, it needs a great live performance to shine though..

11. Eric Vidović - "Reci mi" it is a bit more than OK I guess, for now, it has smth, maybe the full be better..but alsmo it could be worse..

12. Ashley Colburn and Bojan Jambrošić - "Share the Love" 6/10 copy/paste for above's entry

13. Beta Sudar - "Ma zamisli" 5/10 totally middle of the road, but not bad..

14. Ella Orešković - "Come This Way" 5/10 OK, harmless, that's it..
