I don't know whether to believe this. There really is a lot of stupid people but this surely wouldn't be an official answer (at least I hope). :?
I wonder if someone could ask at HRT page statement about this.

Those statements, as much as are depressing, have sense [MENTION=10742]daniels1000[/MENTION]. Yet, on another side, those articles I posted cite "trusted sources from HRT"...so, who to believe? Honestly, I will give a bit more credibility to newspapers than forum. But...anything would surprise me from HRT...If tomorrow they announce not participating in 2016. and explain it with those arguments, that would be expected actually.

A few years ago sport's programme was a huge problem for HRT, still is, but they manage to get rights for all major competitions. I am wondering for how long will entertainment be left aside... not only entertainment but music content on HRT, which has come down to playing a few music videos after 1 am on HRT 1 and Jazz/Classical live concerts recordings at the same time on HRT 3. They need to fix the whole programming, the Voice won't make up for years and years of neglecting when it comes to music and entertainment.

She told that many people congratulated to her because of that, but that she doesn't know why they do this because that are only rumors and nothing is official. Simply, she doesn't know what will be.
Furthermore, she commented on her first single...that it will be a bit...eurovisionish!

On the other side, bad news are that Croatia gave up on JESC this year. But anyway, I would not say it is any kind of sign as come back at JESC last year didn't mean comeback at real esc...

I´m not very convinced that we will return, but I´m hoping that HRT will at least bother to give us a freaking broadcast this time.

My suggestion is to send Nina Kraljic (Winner of The Voice) but to add something to that. I was thinking about famous croatian musicians (Just like Il Volo, who are famous in the US.) and the first thing that came to mind were 2CELLOS. Those guys are really talented, famous and croatian after all. They might not have time to go on Eurovision because of tour (i hope that is not the case). But just imagine how powerful a song could be if they were combined.
So 2cellos + Nina Kraljic+ a powerful text (That in my opinion, should be in English because nowadays people vote only for something that they understand, and the text should be written by a proper writer not someone like Huljic) = TOP 5 OR EVEN FIRST PLACE

According to her Facebook page, her first single's release date is actually the 30th of this month, so if she's going to Eurovision, it won't be with that.

Sounds pretty interesting and universal compared to other stuff on our musical scene. I woudn´t mind at all seeing and hearing something like this on esc stage.

It is too ungrateful to predict how it would end...with bad staging it would, but with good staging I think it could be good. Anyway, if she really goes to esc, I expect that to be her next single (after September 1). Something more modern, more powerful, a bit more eurovisionish and in English!
