Re: CROATIA 2016

You mean that also could be sign of something? xthink

Maybe only a sign for "I'm too tired to read all those critics on my account, I'll shut it down".

Re: CROATIA 2016

Honestly, maybe its better if we sit out this year as well.
I don´t want us to finally confirm participation at the end of the year!
Some countries have already started with their plans for ESC 2016!

Making decision at the last moment = Not enough prep time!

Not enough prep time = Not enough time to make a decent song!

No decent song = Failure!

One Nina has already suffered because of that. I don´t want no damn deja vu!

But hasn´t the deadline passed?

Although, knowing EBU, they would do literary anything to have as much countries in the contest as possible.

Seems like there are no real rules here, since they are making all those exceptions.

Off course the deadline passed, but do you remember when Czech Republic announce their comeback? Or the news about Australia debuting?

How will the elections influence this PamSwynford?

Well, who even wins the parlamentary elections in Croatia, they can install their own candidate as HRT's Head. Since Radman doesn't give a fu*k for Eurovision, maybe another option will care.

What I don't understand is: why didn't they state anything? I mean if the current HRT director does not give a damn about the contest, that's pretty clear and he's still the director for now. Or do they expect so much a change of Head will come with the elections? I'm confused.

In the ex-Yugoslavia the ruling party appoints the National television director so if the ruling party changes so will the director.
However in Macedonia we don't have this problem since Eurovision is a important sources of income for MRT so even if an anti-Eurovision director is chosen after our elections he will have to comply due to pressure from sponsors. Croatia on the other hands xshrug .Is the current party any good in order to keep Radman around?

I don't know, TBH, they aren't sending those signals. We just have to wait for the results of the elections.

(Random Guy: Hej Nina, will your album be out by the end of the year?
Nina Kraljić: The album will be released next year plus some new interest projects connected with it.
Random Guy: Can't wait and thanks a lot for your answer.)

Re: CROATIA 2016

Finally! Did you voted for a pro-Eurovision party? (Who cares about political programs anyway?)

Well, they were comments on Twitter like "This is more tense than the Eurovision final". But I voted for a party that isn't SDP or HDZ.

Re: CROATIA 2016

Maybe I´m wrong, but I really don´t see us coming back this year.

I´m fairly certain that the first thing that comes to the mind of the winning political party is not going to be:

"Holy crap! Let us quickly appoint new head of HRT so that we can definitely go to eurovision this year! Let us make haste!"

Maybe if our esc team has already made plans and preparations for ESC and are just waiting for the green light, it could be possible.

But if they are waiting for election results, just to start making plans and ideas, then its already too late.

Btw, we don´t even know how long does it take to appoint the new director. Does it take week? Or just few days?

Political party has its own priorities. Is appointing the new director really going to be their first move?

If it's HDZ, then appointing a new Head on HRT is one of their priorities. Mass media are a mighty weapon for brainwashing people.
