It could be anything in each jury, one jury can do NF, one jury can take turns, it's really up to them.

for example, have let's say 3 contests, 21st century, 80's & 90's andd 70's and before
and if the turn up is good enough we can split those to each decade

In Turkish jury we have national finals. Each member sends 2 song to the final, then we vote. But in some juries they take turns.

That thing is eurovision only, and I'd like to hear some older music from various countries around the world.

How do you know it'll be 1 week? Maybe (like FSC) it'll be slow pace contest (1 month). And it's enough imo.

Everyone will be listening to 20 (or 30) songs from her semi-final, and then another 20 in the final. He will vote only in the semi-final and final. For example Eurovision: some countries broadcast only the semi-final, which participate.
