It's too hard for me. I look too many songs and I keep changing my preference. I'll probably alter my top 10 very soon.

I know what you mean. One has jumped up 20 odd places for me today LOL. A few have changed around. I find the 10-20th hard because there are a lot of pretty good songs that dont quite make the top 10 or could it just depends what happened on the night!

Sorry guys, but have you even heard country music? The Swedish song has absolutely nothing country about it, is it the guitar that confuses you? Cause Belgium has one too and nobody "accuses" it of being country... (yes, calling a song country in ESC - when it REALLY isn't - is a terribly bad thing! Yes I have listened to country music before, and no I did not say that 'This Is My Life' is a country song. I said that it had a country feel to it, referring more to the performance (dress, appearance) and Anna's wobbly voice which you happen to hear as well with female country singers, more than in any other genres anyway. But hey, that's just my opinion, you're welcome to disagree. And duh, no, it was not the guitar that 'confused' me, I do know guitars are used in other genres as well, no really I do.

No, but others have 'accused' (to use your word) it of sounding too American, nothing to do with Europe for sure. I just wonder why songs from certain genres should not be allowed at eurovision, and that only 'typical' European songs are welcome to enter competition. I mean, what is a 'typical' European song? Should every country send songs every year that are 'typical' for them? A schlager every year from Netherlands and Germany, an Abba act from Sweden year in year out? And I'm not even sure what a typical Belgian song would sound like. :shock: I prefer some more variety, thank you very much. And if some day Sweden would send a country song to eurovision, well then, bring it on!

Great to see some more rankings! Also interesting to see that after 7 complete lists, six different countries take the top spot (with none of them going to Germany or Azerbaijan)! No obvious winners this year.

I'm going to check out some more of the live performances in the Netherlands last weekend on youtube before changing my ranking, plus waiting to see nine acts live myself this Friday.
