Re: CHINA 2016

Seriously, this is insane. I would understand in case Eurovision had terrible financial problems or was suffering a terrible crisis (like in the 90's), but that's not the case. Eurovision was healthier than ever until EBU started to introduce silly things like the corrupted running order or inviting Australia in such arbitrary way. Everything without fans' approval.

EBU should leave this dictatorial attitude and stop thinking the contest is theirs as soon as possible.

Re: CHINA 2016

And this is how it will soon turn into worldvision. First Australia, now China. Maybe in some years USA and any country from north Africa. And it is not that I have any problem with them but I think that the contest should stay in Europe and as it is was before 2012

Re: CHINA 2016

It is all about money...

What is next? 3rd semi-final for ''not'' European countires?

Australia, China, Usa, India, Canada, Brazil, New Zealand, Japan, Qatar and Mexico?

And to make it fair only 5 of them will get through to the final...

No, no and yet again, no. Unlike Australia, China have no history within the contest and aren't even culturally similar to Eurovision.

Seriously, is Jon Ola Sand trying to ruin the contest?

I think he will only go where the money is! I wonder if he's afraid of the BIG 5 funding coming to an end pmsl!

Re: CHINA 2016

No offense to the Chinese ESC fans but just NO!!!

Australia didn't win, so EBU has to stick to their promise and make it just a one-time anniversary thing... so no further non-European expansion if they don't want to make it a farse... it was already a bit "farse"-y with Australia in... let's not repeat it...

No to China or any other country that doesn't belong to Europe to join. We're more than fine as we are now.

TBH, I'm against China's participation. I'm against our own participation - the EBU has rules they have to abide to, and bending the rules to benefit them is just wrong, whether it means including Australia, China or Mozambique.

So I guess that means yet another pre-qualified nation. As if we haven't got enough of those already..
This madness has got to stop.
