So they might withdraw only because of their head of delegation the last year is retiring?
Too bad though, he was really great giving us great talents like Poli, Equinox and Kristian

Not sure how you can spin this as "withdrawing", I don't see how this is the same as withdrawing? From my understanding they already confirmed, just changing people is not the same as withdrawing.

More information and detailed explanations about the current situation regarding the Bulgarian participation at ESC and the future of the project will be released soon. Until that we won't comment on any informations from other sources than BNT. Thank you for the understanding.

Confirmation status can change. The way I took it is that they aren't quite sure yet.

Actually, one of the Equinox members seemed to confirm they are withdrawing.

If people don't pay TV taxes, it's no wonder that TV stations have to pull out of song contest.

I have to say though, that Eurovision as a joint event of public broadcasters is too hyperbolic and capitalistic for the public mandate.
