There is nothing wrong with the conspiracy story he has posted above, it is just his own opinion of what he thought it will be.
A-lister is a veteran of the forum unlike you which started in Autumn xthink.

If it was poisoning the forum then everyone would be saying it but yet your the only 1 saying it and attacking other members plainly for voicing their own opinions.

By my own experience, I can assure you that the veterans of the forums are almost always the ones whose posts are almost always nonsense rubbish

Why are you here then if you want to assault others and talk BS to people voicing their own opinions?

Anyways back to the actual topic...

not sure if Bulgaria's draw is good xshrug

It does start after some pretty lame entries, but then it is followed by another uptempo and Ukraine... it's obvious that SVT are trying to push the Scandinavian entries instead... oh well we'll see... could be worse I guess xshrug

If people and juries will like Bulgaria's entry, it will qualify. If people and juries won't like Bulgaria's entry, it won't qualify. Simple as that.

Isn't that supposed to be an "unlucky" number? xthink

I know in some cultures though it's considered lucky... so we'll see :)

It was lucky for the past few years in the final xthink
SF 2 Position 13 Qualifications: 2015 2014 2013 2012 2011

Well Apart from 2010 when Bulgaria failed at position 13

Well Apart from 2012 when Bulgaria failed at position 13

So in Bulgaria's case... well

Anyways, I do think it'll qualify... I just hope it'll do as good as it deserves in the end of it all and not struggle because it's not "the right country" so to speak xshrug

"Right countries" and "wrong countries" sealed their destiny only because of the "quality" of their past entries. Nothing more, nothing less. There's kinda an annoying tendency among the fans to always support the underdogs countries, regardless of what they send (well, until when they start sending female singers after a long time of sending male ones... in that case they become hated, like Iceland last year). Personally, I like to support the countries that have good results in Eurovision, because they are the ones that give the contest a good reputation, and not the floppy ones. For them, the withdrawal should be the way to go.

You honestly believe that the results in ESC are 100% fair and the final rankings are spot on reflection of the entries' quality? That all non-qualifiers deserved to be non-qualifiers and all winners deserved to win and all top. 10's were "accurate"? Where's your own "taste" in all of this or you just simply let the results determ that? Ok we are all different...

I can't speak for others, but I personally couldn't care less what country is entering what entry, for me it's all about the entries and not the countries, but I'm not going to delude myself that all is fair and square in ESC. I don't root for Bulgaria this year because it's an "underdog country", I root for them because according to my taste they have the best entry this year... it's simple... I do however realize that some countries struggle more than others, regardless of the "quality" (= subjective) of their entries... Bulgaria happens to belong to that group.

So countries such as Russia and Greece are 'right countries' because they send good entries? What about Alexey Vorboyov and Alcohol Is Free?

Bulgaria's song is strong enough to not matter where it is. It is one of maybe 3 songs that stand out in this dreadful semi. It should sail through.

Alcohol is free is well liked by most people. I remember it was the most popular entry during the show with my family :D

This should qualify - a couple of friends who aren't ESC-Geeks like me checked some entries and liked this one, and in a dreadful semifinal surrounded by weak songs, this will shine.
