:(

It's really sad, but I totally support it in this case...

I don't like sore-looser attitude, but Bulgaria has been screwed over too many times and they are one of few countries that atleast tried to stay genuine...

I will miss Bulgaria, but I totally get if they decide to withdraw... :(

It's not sore-loser attitude. I think we tried many times in this contest and witnessed too many disappointments. Many other countries haven't tried so much and serious through the years. Actually after tonight disappointment, the people from our delegation stated that they accept the result but they run of ideas what to do with Eurovision anymore. Calling Elitsa and Stoyan was desparate last attempt as we tried everything in this contest and it just doesn't work. The same case with Czech republik - we don't speak with the rest of Europe on the same music language. That's all and we should accept it - we tried (it's not we don't put effort), but things just don't work well with us and I understand this decision (although it's not officialy announced by the broadcaster, I think it's pretty sure).

I don't think Bulgaria was screwed that many times. I think they only deserved to qualify this year and in 2011.

I don't believe that Bulgaria is going to withdraw. The reason is simple for me: All the Balkan countries didn't qualify, except Greece & Romania.

2006, 2008 (apparently even 2009 :D ), 2011, 2012 and even 2005 are songs, which other countries with the same songs will do it to finals without a problem.

I didn't call you sore losers, I said that SOME countries withdrew because they were sore losers, but in your taste I would totally get it.

Well, BNT still didn't try some chalga-pop, which I actually think would not sound as foreign to the general viewer than this and would probably attract more votes from televoters atleast.

Don't compare yourself with Czech, they never took the contest serious and they never really sent anything worthy.

Disagree, I think they deserved to qualify in 2008, 2011, 2012 and now in 2013.

Hmm maybe 2008 as well. 2012 was not a bad song, but the live performance was bit too bad to even want it to qualify.

Let me cry in 2006 was also very good song. This is one of the participations, which I love the most from us. Very passionate song.

Well, I had a hard time getting into that one, maybe in a weaker year it could have been a worthy qualifier but not then... and the randomness of adding Azis to the performance

i don't agree with 2008. The stage presentation was a bad. The song just didn't work live.

Today there was big discussion show on BNT with all jury members and BNT crew - the main they said is that Bulgaria must and will continue participation despite the bad results.
"We participate only for 9 years and maybe we should walk longer way in this contest" was one the main points.

"If we cannot do the things right, we should hire international composers and choreographers and to catch their know-how."

BNT blames themselves for the bad result, and not geopolitical voting and so on.. "We have chosen inappropriate song and the result is what it was and we should accept it"

Oh no, this means Bulgaria will also send some cheesy Swedish composed stuff in English in a desperate move to cater to the juries :(

No, next year send a full on booty shaking chalga with some hot bird who can actually sing... just do it! I promise it will pay off!

The 2013 entry was probably just a little too weird and disoriented for the overall viewer, but Europe loves to shake their booties... I mean look at Belarus, lame entry in that genre yet it made it to the final because they simply had no competition... also Greece was uplifting ethno uptempo stuff... although I didn't like it it did stand out.
