I love both of them!

Hopefully we'll get chalga next year! :)

But BNT still thinks stuff as "Fire in my hair" and "Illusion" are "quality" so I doubt it... :/

But I guess Payner is the richest company right? Well, maybe they have a good deal for her. I wish her good luck on her chalga career! :)

Payner is the biggest present bulgarian record company. They have money and in Bulgaria a bribe wont hurt so much, let`s be honest (^.^)

Alisia is better, but I bet BNT would never send it to the ESC;)

They won't, because they consider "Fire in my hair" quality while they think chalga is just trash.

Alisia is good, but there are better options.

Desislava internal selection next year and without any "rules" on the song by BNT and Bulgaria might have their first win (or close to it)!

I think Bulgaria should see what will happen this year (since they tried everything, 'Voda' didn't work, if Poly doesn't work (very decent rock) this year...then..they should stick to chalga and specialize in it for the ESC). But...let's wait and see what happens with Poly.
Btw...I don't mind seeing chalga at ESC anyway, any sort of it. Chalga is reality, so....why not.

Why do you say "Voda didn't work"?? It gave them a very respectable top.5 position and their best result so far.

2008 was underrated, and it seems most agree afterwards it was.

As for the rest of the entries (excluding this year), they were mediocre at best or kinda awkward.

BNT is anti-chalga, but still they can invite that "Fire in my hair" crap , also considering their past entries (both winners and participants in national selection) (except for maybe "Voda" and 2008 entry), almost any chalga hit would be better and more QUALITY than those. BNT just want to prove a point, and they're basically failing in doing so.

"Fire In My Hair" would've been the 2nd coming of Lordi. I'm sure it'd have done better than everything, apart from "Voda", of course... xrofl3 I guess he meant everything, besides "Voda" didn't work but he got ocnfused or something.

No, I meant 'Voda' didn't work as it should/could. If some other country like Greece/Turkey/Armenia/Azerbaijan/Russia sent Voda they would win (or Bosnia/Serbia would be 2nd), not end up 5th. So I think Bulgaria can send catchy chalga in future and be unique (cause...nothing to lose). But I say again..let's see what happens with Poly;) I wish her good luck!
'Fire in my hair' (or head?) dunno ....was just ridiculous. BNT is crazy if they think Milena deserves national final more then chalga, but the fact Milena came 2nd rings a bell.

I don't think Voda would have won with those countries you just mentioned. I liked Voda, but for many people out there it was a weird song, and it really was in a way.

To win, I think there need to be a little more mass-appeal. I think #5 was a good and respectable place for Voda and Bulgarians can be proud of that, sending such an "unsafe" entry and ending so high.

I don't think BNT wants to send chalga though, they had the chance many times already, and as we see they think Milena's hair on fire is more quality.

As for Milena ending up #2nd, I think it was people who were tired of ESC and wanted to send a joke act basically

Or did Bulgarians REALLY like that!?

Actually people really liked Milena and that concirns me a lot. She is really out of her "golden age" when she made good songs. Now this song was just a joke (in the bad way).

And about the bribe, Payner could easilly win if they bribe BNT (they desperatly need money). But it`s a fact that the chalga stars don`t need ESC, because it`s not profitable for them. They make money when they sing everyday in the discos, one preparation for ESC will take many money from them, so I understand why they didn`t "bought" BNT till now. BNT isn`t so pure and fair as we all think and I don`t wanna think for the dark games that go there.

I want BNT or why not Nova TV to make our National finals. They seem at least to try to put the image that they are fair.

I want Payner TV to arrange your coming selections!

Bulgaria might very well turn into my favorite Eurovision country if this would happen

Atleast we wouldn't get any songs or entries like Milena's , we'd get hot girls with hot catchy songs instead ;)

By the way, dad told me he spoke to a friend of his, who's actually the husband of Poli's producer and he said to him it'll be in English. :( I hope this changes or is not even true but why would she be promoting her song in BULGARIAN everywhere if she's gonna be singing in ENGLISH in the end...

Haha one more country to add to the list of "sell-outs for English" for Eurov(Anglo)Vision (controlled by English-favoring juries) :(

Actually didn't they spoke about English version already after her win? But you have a point, why promoting a song in Bulgarian abroad? I hope and cross fingers it'll stay in Bulgarian, atleast they've been willing to promote it that way.

Nah... I think it`ll be better if a free of judge and corporate will broadcaster makes the NF and will allow people from other chalga companies, such as Ara, because they have big potential (and Ara has very good connections with other balkan music companies).

That`s why I`m cheering for the 2 national private channels - BNT (owned by American media group) and Nova TV (owned by a swedish media group) + Both of them are more watched then BNT and that will help increasing the popularity of ESC in Bulgaria (which is extremly low now)

And about the english version - i`m 100% against it and I will not support the song if they change it to english.

BTV is the one I'm sure won't be against chalga, as they broadcast old "Planeta Payner" concerts often...

They are not against it, many times the chalga stars participated in their shows - such as Ivana, Gloria, Boni, Esil Duran, Preslava, Maria and others+ they will broadcast the Payner awards on the weekend ;)

Actually BTV made more then BNT to encrease the popularity of Eurovision in Bulgaria when Ruslana, Anna Vissi and Helena Paparizou guest-starred in their shows.

Just to say that Helena Paparizou and Anna Vissi got 12 points from the bulgarian public, because they were extremly popular in that time and BTV made so much to encrease their popularity in Bulgaria ( not that we didn`t knew who they were before that :D )
