I actually like quite a few, especially some of the earlier entries from 1975 and 1980. More recently, I liked Mor ve Otesi and Sertab, as well as Sebnem Paker.

I actually think in 1975, they had one of the best songs but were grossly underrated. And a lady singing a funky song about petroleum is always fun:

Turkey was grossly underrated in the jury years, mostly because it was the only Eastern country with Greece and Cyprus (also underrated). Although it did send really bad songs at times.

I love many Turkish entries in the jury years, much more so than in Turkey's golden decade (2000s). "Dinle" is of course an absolute classic, but there are many other great entries (of those I know: 1975, 1980, 1984, 1987, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1996).

In the 2000s, I like "Every way that I can" although like many others I feel it's a weak song for Sertab (an otherwise AMAZING singer). "Düm Tek Tek" is one of my favourite ESC songs if I judge by my iTunes counter, it's indisputably catchy and has been reprised many times (most notably in Afrikaans - by Andriëtte - and in Arabic/French). And Turkey 2006 is not great, but boy were those dancers HOT! =D

1) 2008 - because it was freakin' awesome
2) 2009 - because that male dancer was hot as hell and Hadise delivered it on the stage perfectly
3) 2006 - because it was risky and ballsy, and just a tad avant-garde compared to most of Turkish entries

it's interesting, in the poll sertab is 1st, manga is 2nd , dinle is 3rd and athena is 4th... just like the way they were ranked in the contests of their years :p

dinle is the best for me, while i think ajda pekkan's petroil is an absolute classic. :)

You like our 2008 entry, it happens too rarely from strangers. :)
And about 2011, you really... Like it? Most of us thinks Yüksek Sadakat was a shame for us...

2008 was my second fave immediately after Norway. It's a wonderful entry, metafeller.

2011 was great too. Not as great as the others I've mentioned, but certainly better than many.

Sebnem Paker (1997) was just awesome. Athena (2004) and Sertab (2003) were also great.
