Altug, so everything she does is a propahanda? O___0
This particular image OBVIOUSLY is not associated with the whole Turkish culture.

And there is even LESS women in Spain who dress up like Inna on her Spanish picture... and?
An actress in the theater/movies doesn't wear her scenic clothes on the streets so why the heck it should be called a propahanda?! Does she actually try to portary modern times, the whole country? ;)

i meant google pics, someone trying to show Turkish women like Arabians and you can find veil-wearing girls easily there... Try to search turkish women in turkish and you'll see what is the truth.

What's the sense in showing arabian dress with describing yourself as Turkish ?

if I see a turkish movie I can see woman wearing a veil.....if I see pics from my friends that visited your country, in the background I can see woman wearing veil.....

Before you watched a Turkish movie or saw some pics from your friends who visited my country, you have no right to talk about my culture, my women and my country. ;)

You can't see a veil-wearing women in all the Turkish movies would you watch.

For example, a Turkish movie:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cool_School_Camp

You can search '' Turkish movies '' and you'll se it is not like you said.

I'll petition the court to they ban INNA'S official website as they did a wrong propaganda about our Turkish women, so i just need some supporters and i believe i'll find many supporters. INNA cannot be supported by Turks until she doesn't describe herself as Turkish or remove that pic. You'll lose a great voter group, cause you know if we want we can ensure inna to win that voting, I could open a thread in a turkish forum or a newspaper could capture as '' Vote for Turkish women INNA '' it would be enough to she win but you romanians lost it probably and i hope you won't win that voting as you lost Turkish voters. Bad luck INNA !

Ottoman women culture is minority here and you can't describe yourself as a Turkish with wearing veils. Read the article i gave you above. %2 or %30 MINORITY IS MINORITY, DID YOU UNDERSTAND DUDE ? I'll wear like a romanian gypsy as i saw many romanians in my country, i'll wear like them and i'll say it is the Romanian culture. Also there are at least %20 veil-wearing women in Germany, should i show German girls as they wear veils too ?

LOL, you trying to show your culture is not gypsy culture and it's really truth i know, so why don't you understand how i feel when you said veil-wearing is your culture ?

Search for '' TÜRK KIZLARI '' in google pics, it's Turkish and it means '' Turkish girls '' , so i think you'll understand how kind of culture we have. Cause i don't believe foreign opinions about my culture so i don't search for Turkish girls in any foreign languages, cause the pics they showed us are so wrong.

Anyone can't associate veil-wearing with my nation, We don't let that, and we'll not let INNA to show our women wrongly. We have veil-wearing women less than veil-wearing women in europe ;)

By the way, i saw new comments in that website, i really love my nation as they criticized it as enough. I have hope so much that i'll be supported by my nation, We'll boycott and ban that website in Turkey until that ignorant girl removed that pic.

You have nothing to say about my culture after i showed you truth. I should ask who are you romanians to show my culture wrongly ?

you would post a turkish girl as a robot and i wouldn't be angry about that, but veil is so wrong, i know it's about your ignorance.

is not about Romanians.....is a worldwide image....all people think like that....because in the past woman used to wear a veil....in the present the situation changed but the mentality doesn't change so fast. ;)

Btw, calm down....INNA has already deleted the Israeli, Turkish and Spanish pics. Satisfied now? ;)

Alex is so right Altug... I say this as friendly advice, you need to lighten up, chill out and relax a lil' bit.
It doesnt matter if Inna shows Turkish women as having a veil, it is a joke - learn to take a joke ;). Otherwise you will be like muslims in Pakistan etc who come out protesting and burning flags because a Western newspaper has posted a joke about Muhammed or somethin...

Did i say i'll burn any flag ? :/ Protesting is a right when someone did some mistakes and wrong things. Didn't you see any protesting, it is a democratic right that is in all the countries including westerns. You can protest government, you can protest universities, for example, haven't you ever protest homophobics as a gay group ?

So you accept that you wouldn't protest it when she showed a british girl like that ?

I didnt say that you will burn flags, I was using it as an example as when people take jokes badly ;). I wouldnt be in the slightest bit bothered if Inna wore a veil for the UK. The veil has never been and never will be part of our culture but if she decided to wear it for the UK I would find it quite funny actually cuz it's a JOKE, not meant for offence! In the same way I would find it funny if she wore a fat suit for the UK .
I dont disagree with people protesting when it's something personally offensive but I will use the example of a British comedian. Now he makes jokes about gay men and people of other races and I find it totally funny cuz it's just stereotypes and fun. In the same way the clothing Inna wore is a stereotype of Turkey.
The only problem for me is when jokes become nasty eg if a comedian said that gay people should be killed... as far as Im aware, Inna hasnt said anything of the sort about Turkish people therefore it should be taken as a joke ;).

xgood exactly.....protesting is for something more serious than just a pic  INNA loves her fans from all around the world and her last intention is to offend someone.

^ You shouldnt be proud of that, I would be ashamed... :|

No, I'm so glad that she understood that it is not our culture when Turkish people warned her ;)

Of course i don't expect any dress style from Turkish culture from her, she would wear a bunny dress (example), or a robot dress like israeli one, but not veil, sorry.

Why are you so hating of anything that appears to make Turkey look Muslim Altug? Islam is a big part of your history and therefore your modern day culture...

as women doesn't wear altar clothes (especially nuns) in your country, we don't wear veils in our country too. I think it makes some sense about how much religious we are. If you ask a Turkish, what's your religion ? he/she says Muslim but you can't see him/her when she/he prays or in mosque (mosques are nearly-empty), or wearing islamic dress.

Altug, I think u're taking the whole thing much more serious then it really is, making drama when there's no need for drama. I've been in Turkey twice, and yes - girls don't wear veil, although I saw some with veils in streets too (but maybe they were Arab tourist, I can't say - they went to sea water completely with clothes, for example).
Many girls r dressed 'modern' (in 'Western' terms), many girls really DO wear head scarf (it's called hijab?). So, perhaps INNA did mistake with veil, but hijab isn't wrong association for Turkey. Many girls wear it - so f...what? Who cares? Your president wife wears hijab, nobody mind.
I don't understand why does it bother u, when all ppl here r relaxed with it. Nobody cares...and nobody think Turkey is radical because of it.
I actually think it was kind of INNA to make those photos for fans in different countries and I don't understand how anyone can get insulted by those (funny) photos (if she did it for girls in my country - she would make a slut with a gun, so what:lol:). Poor girl, she must be in shock when the blast of criticism came to her web site. For nothing.

Wearing-veil or wearing-headscarf (or hijab) women are minority in this country, so you can't association a minority group with a country. If they were majority, Turkish people wouldn't criticize INNA so much.

You can't see even 1 women with headscarf, veil etc. in aegean, east thrace and mediterranean cities. Istanbul and Marmara is divided about that. (cause so many eastern people migrate to istanbul and marmara)

In Eastern, there is an another culture, there are another nation, but it is not Turkish and you know what is it. ;) I don't tell it clearly cause i don't want to blame a group.

By the way, president's wife is arabian origin.

^ you can't associate the majority with country as well!!!
Turkey consists of EVERY Turk... like it or not.
But if you think that only 1 person can be associated with the whole country - that's your problem.

The end of discussion.
Discuss MTV EMA , please.
