^ Once again MTV proved that money and extensive promotion do not define the best performers, indeed unknown ESC performers (some of them were nominated on MTV but they didn't pass) were miles better than so called MTV stars

I agree, everything is about promotion, money, commercial strategies, image......and then is the talent. We have huge stars with not so much talent and some unknown artists that are damn good! This is life...

i don't understand the point of Mtv EUROPEAN Music awards if the performers are from u.s.a., the nominees are from u.s.a, the host is from u.s.a. etc.etc.etc. so really now..what's the point of it?? the only european thing that night was Madrid and David Bisbal!

Well, I think it's more like "What are the favorite MTV USA acts/singers etc. among the European audience" And I think this is what they meant to do!
