The problem for me with this song is that no matter how many times I have listened to it, I can't remember a single lyric or the beat of the song even the slightest.

me with basically any entry from italy in the contest (except 2024)

You're not the only one. I have it as a predicted Q at the moment, but I think it's the most at risk in SF1 of being a shock NQ.
It's not getting a great fan reaction despite initial hype, and I can't see casual viewers strongly connecting with the performance or song.

Even the "initial" hype was more the Belgian fans hyping it.

I see no hype for it otherwise.

I think the biggest problem is his non-existent stage presence and the fact that the song is loud in a see of loud songs. I really struggle to see locals picking up their phones to vote for this.

That's true as well. It's one of the most unpredictable entries of this year.

Quite the opposite for me, this is a safe bet to qualify. The competition is very disperse for this to stumble so hard. It's one of the slickest EDM songs, it has the advantage of being Eurovision ready package from the get-go and his falsetto gives it an edge. My slight reservations come down with the dizzy camera cuts but nothing that can't be fixed.

I think it'll do a Luktelk type of result.

I've been thinking abt this one for a while now and why it doesn't work for me. The song is great, he can sing and he does have stage presence, even though some people are saying he doesn't (he's probably just uncomfortable at the top of that tower, was loads more engaging in the preshow). Staging is solid. But at the end of the day it just feels to me like a kid is performing an adult song, they don't fit together. And that's why it's also really hard to predict how this will do. Everything about it is good, it should be top 10 in both jury and televote. And yet something just doesn't fit.

Is anyone still enthusiastic about this song? It's rare to see a song drop this hard, from being seen as a potential winner when it was chosen, to just kind of forgotten and not talked about at all.

I guess it no longer seems so unique with all the other entries coming out, and the fact that the song is so simple and really only relies on his vocal strength, which isn't that remarkable or special when faced up against JJ and whoever else has high falsetto vocals in stronger, more dramatic songs.

It kind of falls in a trap of dance-pop songs that are a bit too simple and unemotional really not being suited for ESC, a la Toojji "Stay", Triana Park "Line" etc. This takes it to another level with the vocals, but unfortunately, it might not be enough to stand out with the voters. We'll see, i still think this can do top 10.

I follow Eurovision on X, Reddit and various forums and I see very few positive comments about this song. It doesn't seem popular in the fan bubble and I think it will struggle with casual viewers too.

I couldn't understand why it was being talked about as a winner a few weeks ago. Maybe it was because there were not many songs released by then
