I did as well warm up to the song when I saw the video. Still think it is a little disjointed, that it isn't a perfect fit into Eliots voice and that it lacks that little extra that the Walloon TV has given us these last years...but it ain't bad and I could see this qualify with a good draw.

I didn't like the snippet/teaser at all but I really love the verses in the full version and the chorus works in some way now too.

However, the last chorus is a disappointing finale after the build-up in the bridge. It's way too "soft and I feel like they could've done more with the dubstep-rhythm in the chorus.

It's a nice song you can listen to in the background but I'm not sure if it will grab the attention of the televoters enough to do really well.
I can see juries appreciating this with a good performance though.

The chorus is what really brings down this entry. Not the melody per se but the lack of instrumentation, it's too alike the verses energy-wise. 5 points for now and I think they'll struggle to qualify once again...

Gosh the outcome of this idea of a song hurts so much... xdoh

The first minute with the verse always sounds SO promising at every listening, even now after a couple of times it makes me think hey, maybe I'll get into the song this time! But then minutes 0:58 destroys everything!! Who came up with the idea of having such strong verses with high suspense and just turn the song 180° around with that damn chorus! The chorus has got a totally different (in fact quite happy sounding) melody and instrumentation that doesn't fit to the rest of the song at all... It even sounds a bit like Marco Menghoni in 2013 to me And as I said before it's a total Agnete moment. But I quite liked that back then, this now completely destroys the song for me. I'm so sorry this had the potential of being my #1 and the #1 of 2019

Same! It didn't catch me instantly while I recognize its merit as yet another quality entry from Belgium. I have pegged this down as a borderline qualifier.
But after listening to multiple times, it has definitely grown on me and I really like it now. But I am just afraid how it will do 'live', because there isn't much for Eliot to showcase his vocals. I hope the staging will help to elevate the song. But as of now, I am still putting it as a borderline qualifier.

Finally something really good! Thank God Belgium, I was losing my faith in Eurovision! It‘s not that big WOW WINNER moment that I had but it caught me undoubtedly! Wish the chorus wouldn’t sound like a bridge, it‘s something missing. But so good anyways!

This is actually not that bad (I just upgraded from 3 to 5 points only because I really like the verses, the chorus still ruins everything in the end), and is good anyway...
