So in your world professional-souless = good, amateurish-energetic = bad ? :?

Don't put words in my mouth. I never said it was a great song I just like it better than the old version. And I don't agree that the original version was energetic, I thought it was messy but as I said, i never had an attachment to the original version therefore I don't have that "betrayal" feeling as you do.

And what did the pros turn it in to? Some watered down pop song? They removed all the rock elements and everything that made it stand out. Now this has no chance of qualifying imho. I can't see why enough people would vote for it. I could be wrong of course, but I don't think so.

It is certainly not good enough to gain my support, all I said was that it's better than the original version (didn't like the original one) and that I could actually like it but it would never be on my "Love" list. The song itself is too shitty for that.

If I was Dmitry Karyakin's girlfriend (supposing he has one) or any other friend I would tell him: "What the hell did you do to the song? You and that producer trashed the song up. No, no, no. NONO Stick to rock sound, honey xguitar. It's Eurovision Song Contest, not Eurovision Pop Contest".

I'm just trying to understand what it is you like about the new version. You said it sounds more pro to you, that's why i'm asking professional does automatically mean "better" to you?
Maybe the old version was a bit messy, but yes it did have energy and soul.
That "pro" re-arrangement is like destroying a pretty lawn and filling the space with asphalt. Yes, it will be very smooth and very pleasant to walk on, but no flower will ever grow there.

Well if someone could prove that he doesn't like girls, Belarus would end up higher than it would anyway... :D

Or you can turn a ghetto, run down neighborhood and fill the space with asphalt. In that case it would be a major improvement. And that's how I feel about the song. And I'm not the biggest Euro trash pop fan and to me the original version was not only amateur but just bad. Just because a song is ameteur doesn't mean it's emotional, to me it was unprofessional

No it won't be, it will be just a souless piece of asphalt again  You forgot to mention "build new beautiful houses, schools, museums and parks", that's exactly what greeks forgot to do ;)
I didn't say amateurish automatically means emotional, but this one was emotional. Now it's empty :(
Though if you don't feel it - you don't feel it, nothing i can do about it.

Congrats, everyone. Litesound have officially let the public know they don't give a crap about our opinion whatsoever and the new version stays because "the greeks know what they are doing and they know how to win the Eurovision".

If we knew what we were doing, we would have won more than once! ;)

Matt, can the poll be reset?

I wasnt a fan of the old version. Pop-rock is my one musical hate.. infact I was incredibly annoyed when "All My Life" was suddenly changed for this. It's now gone from generic pop-rock to generic electro errrr... thingy. To be honest I like it alot more. I don't think the vibe of the song though should have been so drastically changed as it's not fair on the fans of it. I can only imagine my disgust if "Suus" suddenly turned into a club anthemT()

I have this tiny question...

Since there are no more rock elements in the song, will they still appear as a rock band with guitars and all, or will they jump around like Sakis Rouvas?

Please, God, spare us!

I really liked the old version, but this is rubbish!
It's gone from an entry I thought would definitely qualify to one I think will really struggle :s

They should change the band's name to "SpicePussyCatBoys" now
