Second that!

The accent is really heavy, and many times I feel that they don't even know what they sing, and to me that's the worst scenario. Too much effort is made to try to get the words right, which takes away from the song and vocals.

I WISH they were making an effort to get the words right... but they for some reason think that if it sounds like they are chewing gum with an open mouth and singing in English at the same time, then they are so damn cool, that it was their fault that Europe got frozen this winter.
i hate that open mouth and chewing words... i think they are trying to make it sound more American, but going overboard... you have to really look hard to find pronunciation THAT open... on top of that they decided that not only they will open mouth too wide, they will also bring some French into it by combining 10 words into one continuous sound.

I seriously don't think it's bad, the guys speak very good english, from their interviews with foreign media so they really know what they are singing and the lyrics are written by them too. Maybe they try too hard and need to relax? Anyways, i prefer chewing sounds than listening to usual russian/ukranian/belarusian "kazigatsamsingtobilivin" or "nevanevalechugou" :geek:

i kinda want to be able to hear and understand the words..
like i said before, their english is better than what came before them, but with the way they choose to pronounce the words it sounds to me like they are overcompensating... reeks of desperation.

something got me thinking... when Koldun was singing English songs by Bon Jovi or Scorpions, he had a much better pronunciation than in his Magic song... and it makes sense, musical ear is quick to pick up sounds and it's easier for musicians to mimic them... why not ask some native speaker (British, American, what the heck, Australian) record the song for them and then listen to it 10-20 times...

Agreed, i've noticed the same with me, even when i'm just singing along a song by a native speaker i sound better than singing along something like "Believe" by Dima Bilan. They should defo try it. But again, i like the guys just the way they are now. I understood every word of the song right away.

They've just finished recording the new version with Kontopoulos, in Minsk.
The music vid is about how human relationships can stop armageddon.

The new version? What the hell? This version is fine. I hope they don't screw it up.

Litesound writes a new version of the song for "Eurovision" with the famous Greek producer

Belteleradiocompany continues to prepare for the international song contest "Eurovision-2012" which will be held in Baku (Azerbaijan). The representative of Belarus - a group Litesound - has recently started to record the song "We Are The Heroes", BelTA learned from the press service of the Department of Belteleradiocompany.

The new version of "We Are The Heroes", which is created specifically for the "Eurovision", recorded in the studio recording of the Belarusian Radio Belteleradiocompany. As a consultant invited by a famous music producer and composer Dimitris Kontopoulos from Greece.

The place to write is not accidental. The new studio recording of the Belarusian Radio has no analogues in the country, and to equip the studio can compete with the world's leading studios. It is noted, and music producer Dimitris Kontopoulos: "I'm impressed. I never thought that Belarus could be as many high-end studio - it's incredible. These are only the top record companies in England and Sweden. Work here we are very comfortable."

Excellent working conditions and noted soloists of Litesound Dmitry and Vladimir Karjakin. "Studio, which held a record, the most modern, is the best professional equipment. Not every European country has such equipment. We are confident that in Belarus, everything can be done at the highest level", - told the musicians.

On the question of how to change the song after working with the Greek producer, soloists Litesound responded that it would be more closer to the format of "Eurovision". "The contest has a specific format, it will be sustained in our song - said the brothers. - The more that Dimitris great experience at" Eurovision ". Among the most successful of his works - arranging songs" My Number One "for the winner of" Eurovision Song Contest 2005 "Helena Paparizou and" Work Your Magic "Dima Koldun, the authorship of the songs" Shady Lady "for Ani Lorak and" This is our Night "Sakis Rouvas. work remains to be big, so we're a little worried, but confident that everything will be fine . I would also like to note that we are honored to work with a professional of such magnitude as Dimitris Kontopoulos. And, of course, we can not wait to hear the new version of our songs. "

The song "We Are The Heroes" is a new sound at the beginning of next week in Baku. Arrangement will be ready for the meeting of heads of delegations, which will be held March 19-20.
