Guys first of all I hope that our goverement would do everything to creat a best condition for foreigners to visit our country. We have a lot of beautiful places and nature which you all can visit and get a great pleasure.

Our country is not so big so you can visit all places and also enjoy with our Caspian Sea.

So dont be afraid to visit Azerbaijan! Our nation are known as hospitable and tolerant to all nations, religions and minorities.

All this year I and my azerbaijani friends here would introduce you with culture, music and history of our country!

I'm sure that the ESC will be in Baku. It's our capital and the biggest city in the Caucasus. So the hosting will be there!

ITV has confirmed that 2009 azerbaijani representive Aysel will be the host of eurovision next year in Baku

I'm thinking of travel to azerbaijan but i'm not sure. i have to think a lot about it. it's so far away.

It is not that far away. It takes some 3.5 hours from Vienna on the plane. There is also a direct flight Vienna-Baku operated by Austrian Airlines

Some latest news:

1. ITV would like all the countries to participate at ESC 2012 in Baku including Armenia.
2. Aysel will be one of the hosts at ESC 2012 in Baku.
3. A new multifunctional arena with 20 000 seats could be erected near the Flag Pole.

p.s. We gonna get more information on June 20th after the EBU meeting regarding ESC 2012 in Geneve.

so happy Aysel will be one of the hosts! Eldar can be one of the male hosts, he is articulate and I like him. The third person must speak French and hopefully it will be someone decent.

If not for Samir's and Safura's bad English I would have wanted one of them to be our backstage host.
