Another Christina Aguilera ballad?????? Please, this is the year of the ballads and the joke entries...

Good song, but nothing really special. Azerbaijan, when will you sing in Azeri?

Ill give it 8 points mainly because of the music. Im not keen on the way in which it is sung. Im properly being overly generous. The music was just gorgeous though.

Even i'm über sick of seeing non-azerbaijani productions anymore, i really liked this one. Really strong and IMO much better than the undeserved winning 'Running Scared'. 10 pts from me!
P.s. It kinda gives me feeling of the Bridget Jones movies

The song was recorded with ethnic Azeri instruments: kamancha and balaban; it was also decorated with sounds of a variety of local percussion instruments – davul and ghawal. On top of everything the song includes elements of the unique vocal style called mugham.

I don't know why, but this song reminds of "Stop" by Sam Brown

I will give this 3 points because it ain't that bad.

It is strange that the song has just finished and I can't remember a single part of it...

nice ballad and it's good that it has ethnic elements :) I like how the music really just dies in the end.

So another Swedish product for Azerbaijan then... lol

This song is written by the same team that did "Drip Drop" (Anders Bagge, Sandra Bjurman, Stefan Örn) + Johan Kronlund. Stefan Örn & Sandra Bjurman also did "Running Scared".

It'll be the 4th Azeri entry in a row made by a Swedish team.

Swedish Eurovision imperialism continues!

However, although I had other hopes for Azerbaijan this year, this is actually an ok entry afterall.

@ mod

Please change the name "Johan Kronlunddur" in the info bar! It's Johan Kronlund, that was probably some Azeri name-grammatics or some misspelling on that page.

Azerbaijan already had better entries.
"When the Music Dies" is only average, imo, but it could get a grower.

Re: AZERBAIJAN 2012

To be honest I also see Aysel again at ESC. She will bring us a victory..you'll see ;)

I'm not sure about it's a winner song but it's one of the best songs this year. 12p. from me. ;)

Like it a lot. :p

Nice! Nothing special, a bit boring at some points, but ok.

I think it's not just average, it's average-average. It's a B-side song that some artists would not even consider putting on the B-side.

It's as if this year there are only a few countries who really want to win this event.

Eurovision isn't about winning, it's about sharing awesome NATIVE music... Something that Azerbaijan haven't send in 4 years.. But I shouldn't nag as Belgium barely does this also hehe

Not bad at all! It's my #4 favorite ballad now after "Nije Lubav Stvar", "Mundu Eftir Mer" and "Nar Jag Blundar". Her voice is amazing, i love that jazzy feeling on the song plus national motives that are not over the place, just enough of them to highlight the beauty of the song. Great job, guys ;)
