"Love" you too xkiss
ps. And I haven't been wrong on rumours that much actually.

No, I know... I'm just trying to stay optimistic and point out the few times you actually were ;)

Oh ... I was hoping that this year Azerbaijan will show their culture through song Sabina. Do it in the oriental style, with spectacular scenery. I hope this is just a rumor.

It's not my fault that rumours don't turn on truth sometimes :)

But in this case I have bad news for your optimism, it's been confirmed by Andy as well.

I begin to wonder why they even bother? Seriously some can laugh at Montenegro, but they sent something local at least. I rather listen to Rambo than yet another "sooo perfect" production from Sweden for Azerbaijan. They host, they have a perfect opportunity to show their culture :/ I posted few pages back a traditional song in Safura version, they have beautiful music, show it to Europe for God's sake...

Incidentally, in 2009, the song still had Oriental motifs, and this song was great! For me, the winner of Eurovision 2009

And there was Swedish production if I'm not mistaken.
2012... asking the same author (for another ballad?) thrice is just lulz.

Yes...

Azerbaijan 2009-2011 (2012?) : Swedish team of producers, composers, songwriters, recording studio, promoters, choir singers, choreographers  (well not all of those at once at all occasions, but more or less)

AlekS Yes, it was part Swedish, but one of the authors was Arash. So it's not so bad, maybe Azerbaijanis "ordered" from the Swedes something colorful national and east?

Arash is basically Swedish. He is a Swedish citizen. He moved here when he was 10 from Iran and it was here his music career started.

I didn't mean it's bad ;)
Actually Swedes can help them with making Azeri native tunes sound more modern without ruining this ethnic feel. Imo, 2009 was a perfect example of that.
But the current author composed Drip Drop and Running Scared. "Very" colorful and national
Though who knows, miracles happen.

^ I don't hope at all. While we have the same team working with our representatives we won't change our attitude. It is really shameful and i don't even care about the song even if it a masterpiece. I am just sorry that it is in the final I'd rather see us get stuck in the semi.

Sad :( I hoped for a song with some national motives or at least partly in Azeri regardless to its authours origin and nationality
