maybe, but it’s also not good enough. After 2024, I think, it's not too political.
I agree on the idea of combining songwriting and singing power.I hope they will make the one or other change to the selection process.
Reflecting the past ten years I dont see much sense to continue scouting in the austrian music scene. actually the only act from the austrian music scene was Paenda.
I would rather put together songwriters and good singers who really are interested in esc and organise song writing camps. and then choose. maybe let it accompany by someone like Cesar Sampson on social media to make it a little bit more transparent. the past two years we had acts who really are into esc and it worked.
Why?Reflecting the past ten years I dont see much sense to continue scouting in the austrian music scene.
I would actually love that! I am familiar with some of his music, and I really love Shackles. But yeah, I wouldn't blame him (or others for that matter) if submitting an entry for 2025 doesn't sound so appealing after the "annus horribilis" year of 2024, if we can go as far as calling it that.Keeping a tradition alive: Thorsteinn Einarsson 2025? I guess after this year he’s even less interested in it that before though haha.
I think I explained it in my post. There was no outcome except Paenda. I think the swiss way is the better one. Give artists who want to perform at eurovision the guidance they need to write or find good songs. dont just wait for good songs. I would put a famous face like Conchita or Cesar to the front and let somehow the public or at least the fans accompany the selection process. Why?
