From what I've seen, it looks like Austria was not going to use the LED side of the kinetic sun, so maybe it's not a problem that it's not working as planned. Or are the lights just the backup plan? Does anyone know about that?

I hate what I read here:

- Lumix shouting "Whats up"
- Pia can't sing in a lower key
- Background choir makes things worse
- Static performance


So, this Eurovision poses a triple threat for me: worst stage (haunts me in my dreams already), worst possible winner (Sweden), worst possible outcome (NQ)

I feel like Halo is going down solely with Pia Maria. They lowered the key for her, they made a static performance for her, they hired backing singers. And in the live shows she will have shiver like Paenda.

It's still perplexing to me that they went with a completely unexperienced singer to perform this alongside Lumix. It's their own fault if things don't go to plan, it's literally been written in the stars since the moment they selected her.
Hopefully she'll manage to deliver vocals good enough to at least sound ok to the casual viewer next week though

Limits and Amen were also wonderfully staged but I don't trust in staging carrying us through.

Staging-wise we have been overachievers since 2014 thank to Marvin Dietmann, but these are the worst vocals coming from us ever. And I mean, she sounded decent to me at pre-parties.

Hahaha now she doesn’t sound good to you anymore? I don’t agree on Vincent’s staging being good at all. Paendas song wasn’t magical/ special enough for her staging.

Unless Pia Maria improves her vocals, I think this is going the same path as Poland 2018. Hopefully it'll improve for next week shows.
