there has been no public communication of a dealine or a specific date when to announce the act, any information about this is just based on "insiders" who share this here, so that's why it may seem so.
guess they wanna make sure to choose the right representative and i actually like the fact that they seem to put a lot of thought in it and not only think about the songs but also about possible stagings, seems like they care imo.

I loved it as well - the live performance made it leave my Top 10 in the end but I really wanted him to qualify. It is a stunning and beautiful ballad!

In the end there is no absolute need of having the DJ on stage... You could also stage this in many creative ways.

Pider: Our lives are centered in Austria for many years and we are an integral part of the Viennese music scene. We've had a lot of support here over the years. Now we want to give something back. We live and represent a European idea that arises when you come from South Tyrol and have grown up multilingual under the influence of different cultures. Basically, South Tyrol is a small Europe within Europe. We are an authentic act that goes its own way with all our heart and soul. It would be a sensation and a great honor for us.
