after the success of césar sampson in 2018, our dear austrian posters locked themselves in their own thread and convinced themselves paenda would have the same success during the entire eurovision process, even when the song was out and, you know, it didn't look all that likely. then she flopped and it didn't seem to change their attitude very much. it's actually very inspiring. imagine having this much faith in your country. i could never. xheart
I liked "Limits" because the song fits my personal taste. I never expected it to do well in eurovision. This year I have expected the worst because I don't like any of Vincent's songs. It's far better than expected but it is what it is. Nothing special in a good way like many other songs this year.

You are a shady mean queen. I love Limits from the bottom of my heart. I felt this song in my body and everywhere. I was so heartbroken last year and it was not due to the song but to its miserable delivery. Limits and Loin d'ici are two everlasting pieces of art.

Alive (or Aloof) is not my cup of tea, the singer lacks personality and I am not interested in winning a Meet&Greet with him. I am not at all invested in this song, nor in Running on Air, nor in Shine, nor in Woki mit deim Oasch. And aef was a shady biotch toward Zoe in 2016.

So, your notion is very superficial and pointless. Walk along, baybeah

I expected it to do extremely well until I saw her perform on the jury semifinal, after the video leaked on vimeo. #carcrash.

Seriously, Limits is so much better than 99% of Eurotrash catered every year, including winners.

I‘m not enthousiastic about our entry. And I‘m not sure we‘ll qualify with this. It lacks originality big time.

You will not qualify. There is not much to discuss about it. It's general opinion. But even your guts tell you this is sehr sehr schlecht. You have to be clear about that. The faster you realise that, the easier you will get over it.

After Ireland, coming here, and exactly the same, not for me, but again it is not bad, the same mark in the poll, 4....

But if Germany in the final will do good, I dont see why this won't qualify.. It is on the same level, even a bit more original than Germany.. xshrug

I normally love grooves like this but Vincent just comes across as really unlikeable for some reason. Robotic. This song would easily make my top 10 with a different singer. ://

God damn it, there it is. The "sticks and stones may break my bones" line. Join hands with the "fire, desire, higher"-fraction from Lithuania.

I am not feeling it at all. It is a very Americanised song but nothing special. It's not even catchy to be honest. Vincent better perform the heck out of it. If not, I can see this not qualifying or just a borderline qualifier. Giving it a 5.

I just re-watched the video and I was laughing. This song is so mediocre and Vincent such a robot. The video does not elevate the song at all. A gharstly abandoned hall, not even Zubats and Gengars would want to gather there, and despite of having 50 people in the video, there is no dirty heterosexual dancing. Only some ridiculously sensual body moves by Vincent that would turn me straight if I were a lesbian Asian woman. I am already really annoyed by this song and won't listen to it again until May. However, I still think it could qualify, because 2020 is so drab and bland, that juries might push it over the edge. No Top 10 with televoters though.

Unfortunately true what you say. I wish so much that Austria - my third home-country after Germany and Japan - would send some song I can get enthusiastic about. Cesár was so wonderful, Paenda was okay, but this? I can't enjoy neither the song nor the video. It's what you call trite. xcry

7 points. It's a good entry, but probably will end up between 11-20 on my list

If Benjamin sang this, it would become a Worldhit. With Bueno, its still ok-good. Since the Lack of Juryfriendly Songs in Semi2, I think it will qualify and reach a solid 15th-20th Place.
