We knew even before the song was released, it would be an up-hill battle, because we were warned already beforehand by the selection chief that it was not an ordinary ESC song with a first climax after 30 seconds and a pompous ending.

It's a shame cuz I listened to all her songs on Spotify and the only oner that left me unimpressed was 'Limits'
There were many songs that could sneak into top 5 any year with a good staging.
Nonetheless I'll follow her musical career after ESC.

STANDARD: Conchita said after her victory, you have to be able to stand on stage for those three minutes and just enjoy this moment. Do you agree?

Pænda: One hundred percent. And the more relaxed you are, the easier it is.

STANDARD: Nevertheless, you mentioned the negative opinions earlier, and read us one before the interview. How do you handle it, because apparently it is still on your mind?

Pænda: I like the way you hate me. That's probably why this is my opener on the album. I try not to deal with it. You know that it will happen, and also with the other acts. But as long as you don't expierence it yourself, you do not really know how deep the abysses of the human soul are. You become aware of how aggressive our society can be. You can have a thick skin - and I have one, I'm not lying in bed crying at night - but the moment you read something like that, you ask yourself: Why does a human have to be so vicious? You do not like it? OK. You do not believe in it? OK. But why do you have to drag the other one down like this?
