I get your point, but I don't really agree, then societies would never progress on these issues, and for instance Sweden today is way more tolerant to gays than 50 years ago, and that has partly to do with education.
Rather about laws and gays being more vocal )))
Tolerant peeps and homophobes will always exist, it's not about education but rather about if you're an *ss or not ))) An idiots don't care about education. Those who change their minds don't do it because of education, it's their ability to accept differences. You rather have it or not, doesn't matter if you meet gays all the time or not.

Well, then there existed more a-holes back in the day then

Well, let's agree to disagree then ;) And you're actually onto something there "laws and more vocal", which has to come from something... and actually that's what I sort of mean with education, not "school education" more like life experience.

Oh well... we're soo off now

Not more, gays were oppressed by patriarchal laws. Having few bullies b*tching with you doesn't mean that all people thought the same, some of them were afraid to be beaten/killed for such "daring" thoughts so they stayed silent.
Conchita would be so beaten wth stones then.

Being tolerant can be a result of your own genes, hormones blah blah blah as well so it's physical at some point.
Yeah, way off.

Go Trackshittaz! :D
ps. Don't change the staging

I slightly disagree...education has nothing to do with tolerance towards gays. They don't teach at schools "please like gay people"..its got to do with people's experience and surrounding. Some countries just don't tolerate it...i know many people, myself included, who don't have a problem with gay people..in fact i know some gay guys..but the marriage issues and things like that are what people don't agree with for whatever reason it may be. Also people tend to be more open minded (in regards to everything) if they're surrounded by it. Certain people living in some countries (like the balkans) or rural America etc aren't openly exposed to that life so to them it is different and 'wrong' because it's not what they know as being right.

They'll do very well in televoting for sure. I just hope it will be enough for them to qualify..unless there are some hip hoppers among the juries ;)

It's funny how people attacked me for viewing this pure crap as a crap, and started saying about my country's song... Do I start saying about your country's song when you comment in Cyprus' thread that our song is this and that? Only 5-year-old children who are fighting whose father is the best do that:

Kid 1: "your dad is ugly"
Kid 2: "why don't you see your dad who is fat and short?"

:?

This song is awesome, although as a German you don't unterstand what they say. Nevertheless, 12 points from Germany :D
It might do very well in the charts of Germany/Austria/Switzerland during the FIFA EM 2012 as you can still sing the chorus with lots of alcohol haha

This song keeps popping in my head.
I don't think it will win, but I'm sure it will be this summer's hit across all Europe.
