So.. not only Danny will have LED-clothes. Is it really popular this season? Imagine Danny and Trackshittaz qualified to Baku...

Gosh, I am so excited!!

Fingers crossed for Conchita and Trackshittaz, they will get lots of attention!!

But I personally go for 3punkt5 (I love the Serbo-croatian rap part and the female vocals).

Actually, every song is great except Norbert's and Valerie's.

Nothing can go wrong tonight!!

Re: AUSTRIA 2012

Has Austria got any good song too today?
I'm going to watch the National Final before Irish Final, but I haven't heard even 1 song from there.

Yes! There are great songs such as Comme ca, Einsturzgefohr, Don’t Turn Around (my fave), Medicate My Blues Away.

I know it seems very generalizing, but i believe the only people that like Conchita Wurst are either traditional schlager/eurovision-fans or people that are easily carried away by gimmicks (the beard if anyone was in doubt).
Another reason for choosing Trackshittaz - something with wider appeal ;)

Re: AUSTRIA 2012

I agree that those supporting Conchita are either Schlagerlovers or non Euro Fans voting for the most controversial entry.

But at the same token, I don't think that Trackshittaz have a wider appeal, either. Their 2011 effort probably had a better shot due to the fun accordeon background music. But I just don't think this song will have a broad appeal whatsoever. But considering the weak Austrian line-up this may be their best option.

But I also expect Conchita Wurst to win this thing.

I think Oida Taunz may have had less of a wide appeal, as it's a bit weird by hip hop standards, in terms of structure and accordion usage. Woki Mit Deim Popo is slightly more conventional and so is perhaps more instantly accessible.

Really? I thought that Oida Tanz would give Europe a little bit of familarity just due to the "instrumentalization". But since we'll never know I'm just gonna say I'm right and you're wrong :D

I go for response option no. 1, since I am a eurovisionfan since 1989

I understand what you mean, but i still agree with Mickey that "Oida Taunz" may have seemed a bit confusing style-wise. On the other hand the accordeon could've also been a voting-magnet... The world will never know

Robert Kratky joking about last year's winner....

... and how brassy and ridiculous some of the Austrian potential entries could be....
