I don't understand why people don't think this will pass to the final, cause it just must do that! Especially since almost all the big strong eastern countries happen to be in semi 1 and Austria is in 2, then it should just sail through the semi! By far the best ballad chosen so far! :)

There's a slight difference between Azerbaijan 2008 and Austria 2011. Azerbaijan had a very different song and performance that personally I didn't like but it had been talked about very much.

Also Austria is not a diaspora/bloc country as Azerbaijan... so I wouldn't compare the two really.

I am a big Trackshittaz fan and yesterday I voted very often for they. It is very pity that Nadine won but now I support Nadine, because she can sing and I want to see Austria in the final show. Nadine is beautiful, ok the hair is simply terrible, but the eyes are very beautiful. The song is a little bit boring, but when Europe see Nadine I hope they will falling in love. :)

It's a nice song, quite old-fashioned but she has a great voice. I preferred Klimmstein and Sting's son but this isn't too bad either!

It sounds like something used as 'the winners song' on American Idol or X Factor - and I usually hate the typical 'winners song' that they use,but her performance and voice have totally won me over.

Exactly my point and this is why I hate it!!

Now with juries in Eurovision it is slowly turning into some bland copy of Idol.

These type of songs do not reflect European culture, it does not reflect contemporary music either (these type of American ballads were popular during the 80's-90's, not 00's or 10's).

I think Eurovision lost it really.

I think that every year and then change my mind the following one. But yeah, so far Eurovision 2011 seems pretty weak ...
Anyways, I've only watched the first half of the show but most of the songs seemed better choice than this one ... What happened to Band WG and Eva K. Anderson? This girl is a good singer but the song looses my attention after 15 seconds.

Quite a good choice, neighbours :D I think the part in the beginning is pretty courageous, seems to be not that easy to sing, and without any background support, it must be hard...

Wow, it's a strong ballad, ballads r not my favorite style but this one is nice (only because of her wonderful voice, song itself is quite simple and they should put some interesting 'details' in music, more dramatic moments, etc, it would impress me more). But anyway..I think this is probably the best ballad this year, if not the best!
I think juries would like it, and hopefully Austria qualifies!
