I think Ghita Muresan is the 2nd tallest person in the world and I have 1, 87 meters! :D :D
His name is Viorel Moldovan.

Well I was talking in a general sense. And I know Aromanians are not very tall people. I take it from my distant relatives (my grand-grand-grandmother was about 150cm or a bit less :mrgreen: :lol: ). Also, the Romanian football team is not very tall.
I'm sure you are above the average height of every Romanian. :cool:

I knew about us being asociated with mamaliga in -bg because of Hristo Stoicikov (,,Mamaligarski out") :lol: :lol:

Mamaliga is the national dish made of cornmeal. I think it should be associated with Moldova more than with Romania.

It's also wide spread in the Western Ukraine and here on the South :)
Though we add lard there sometimes, I like pure mamalyga without any additions.

Mamaliga = boiled corn flour with salt.
At the begining poor people in -ro where eating that instead of bread because it was cheaper. Now it's a delicatese and we usualy eat it with white cheese and sour.
