The comments are disabled

Because hateful fanatics can't control themselves. They're too angry and aggressive to stop and realize that he apologized. They need to have some sort of excitement in their lives, sitting in front of a computer all day can get boring.

If the juries are made up of offended Eurovision fans who bare a grudge despite Aram's regret of what he said then there may possibly be a problem. The none the wiser public though won't be effected and will hopefully simply just vote for the song they like the most.

Maybe the jury of Western Europe got offended by his joke and maybe will not give points to him, because the jury from East Europe will vote for him anyway..

I truly believe that this is being blown out of proportion. Aram MP3 said things that were not cool and straight up wrong but he clarified, met with Conchita and said that everyone is equal in his book. To me that's good enough. I'm a staunch proponent of equal rights but I also believe in second chances. Booeing and leaving nasty comments all over the world wide web just doesn't really scream appropriate to me....actually it sounds more hypocritical. Hopefully people will start focusing on the music going forward instead of going overboard with their hatred.

Don't know how it works in the rest of Europe, but in Spain juries are usually singers and other professionals who obviously don't pay attention at the Eurovision world, just rate the songs and don't know and care about anything else.

Aram's words to en Eurovision site.

During my visit to Eurovision party in Amsterdam I’ve met Conchita. We have a great talk and all this misunderstanding was clarified. I am very happy for that. However many fans are mislead due to some irrelevant information which was spread through the web. I do hope very soon all this misunderstanding will be clarified and people will share the idea which I am trying to share through my song. I am singing about love which unites people all over the world regardless their lifestyle, preferences, religion and occupation. After all, Eurovision is a song contest and I hope “Not Alone”song will be fairly appreciated as it delivers a very clear message to all people in the world regarding my views and values.

Clap, clap, clap! That's about it. Fed out with this (non) story. Hope it goes away. Armenia has send a great song this year and deserves to get a good place in the competition. End of story.
