What I think is that if they comming, is just to ruin the party for the Karabakh Azeris who wan't that they don't comming.

why are you so against Azeri's?
I hope Armenia comes to Azerbeidjan, it can show that those 2 "rival" nations can do something together

Re: ARMENIA 2012

There is so much unnecessary drama going on here. For me it is very simple: They will either participate or they won't. Same as every other country. I don't get why, not just on this forum, but other Eurovision forums, there is so much attention to the Armenian topic this year (And yes, I know that Armenia and Azerbaijan are possibly the worst two neighbours in Europe). Still, you don't see Luxembourg getting so much attention or even Slovakia (they either don't participate or haven't confirmed yet). I'm sorry, but it's a freaking song contest and nothing else.
Btw, I want Armenia to participate, because they bring something to the contest. I like both Armenia and Azerbaijan (not just in Eurovision, but generally as well).

I don't have nothing againsts hers, but i undertand much them .. in fact i have much Azeris friends in Facebook, Vkontakte, etc.. and they are verry frendly & amaizing persons, but in fact they won't want hear nothings about the Armenians cause they hate much them.

If Armenia agree comes to Azerbaijan, i won't imagine the reaction of the people here, cause they still in feelings mixed about the cuestion.

The Armenians are just are doing the same play as Georgia did with Russia in 2009: As Victim role...¡¡¡ And they are just doing a drama,
independent of the song and the interpreter just to win more sympathetic and let Azerbaijan as bad of the movie without knowledge of the matter and almost all Europe support them blinddly and that is annoying. I don't undertand the point to to bring them into competition, knowing that they are not are dear and don't even been able yet to ensure their safety due to the war still remain..??

But the positive thing is that while others receive less attention, at the final they achieve more success as Azerbaijan & Italy did this year :)

Because if it is for the purpose of reconciling them using the music and the show itself to join them, I doubt (in my opinion) that will be achieved, cause they need much than this for do it.

YEREVAN. – Armenia will confirm its participation in Eurovision-2012 song contest in Baku, Azerbaijan, by the New Year, head of the Armenian Delegation at Eurovision Gohar Gasparyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. Currently discussions are run on Armenia’s participation rather than the participant. Azerbaijan won the song contest on May 15 this year in Germany.

Re: ARMENIA 2012

I've just seen the interview with Jon Ola Sand @ Belarus 1 channel. He's just said that EBU sent a warm invitation to Armenian broadcaster but every broadcaster decides for themselves if they want to participate or not.
+ EBU has no rights to intrude into internal business of any country.

In other words Armenian broadcaster should believe the Azeri side... or not.

Well its mean that :am: probably will be out... cause from i know, they don't trust in the words of Azerbaijan Segurity guarantess as in every interveiw of Gohar Gasparyan was said.

But let see if the EBU do something for them.

So basically this means that EBU couldn't be bothered about how the host treats its "guests" and if it will be secure enough for all. EBU = as always without morality, only cash matters.

Honestly they just was washed their hands

Now the Armenians have 2 options: Or agree in take part in the land of their worst enemy or Just don't take part in the ESC without pay a fine, although all Eurofans arround Europe will mourn a lot their lost and the Armenians will prove that they are cowards.

Just i hope that HoD Gohar just take the best decision for the snake of all.

Aleks, how you will thing that...?? You know perfectly that Gohar never was truthtest in the words of Azerbaijan Broadcaster and i guess that she will take the hardest decision ever... I told you those months here that the Armenian participation in Eurovision 2012 will be problematic & full of Politics, if they agree in take part, those problems that they have with Azerbaijan will be exposed at maximum power as well much more than their entry & singer.

For me its better that Armenia must stay in home, because for ovious reazons by good of the host country, without risking their lives and politicize the contest.
