"Who's up for alphabetical order?" All arms being raised. "Done. Have a nice saturday, everybody!"

I can imagine those trolls come up with the draw in alphabetical order  "Ok, too many ballads, we were kinda bored with it, so why not sort them by their name?"

Btw, Estonia shouldn't be among the first ones if there's a justice out there.

I really hope Norway isn´t opening the show.... could ruin our chances. :|

I highly, highly doubt that they'll open with a relatively stripped-down ballad; y'all might get the #2 slot, though, and that could be difficult to survive.

Nothing is wrong with #2! In 2011, the one who had #2 in the final got the most :12:

^I agree number 2 doesn't HAVE to be bad, but though I agree about Norway, it might have problems being number 2. But it depends of course on what is number one, if Lithuania, no then Norway will have problems, but if let's say Malta or Portugal is first, then number 2 would work better I think.

The whole fuss about #2 is because it has been the most common starting number for a country which ended dead last in the scoreboard and of course that none has won with that number. When you do a competition in over 60 years, some numbers will appear to have more success than others.

The only matters nowadays for me is which song is before and who follows

I think a good example of what works or not for semi 2 is 2008 semis, where in semi 1 Israel did stand out enourmisly betwen Montenegro and Estonia, felt honest, filled with quality after a boring first act and a song that maybe went too far with their jokes afterwards.

In semi 2 though, Sweden happened to be between two party starters in Iceland and Turkey, which made Charlotte Perelli (who was not feeling well at the time either with her divorce and busy schedule) cold, unmodern, even ghostly alien-like and just didn't stand out in no way. And later came Ukraine, with a song not too undifferent from Charlottes and stole all the attention.

So yeah number 2 can really make a difference, so will be interesting to see which songs that will get it! ;)

Do we officially know when the order of songs will be released? (sorry if the question is repeated)

I assume in a few days based on the tweet:

Aka, the thing that matters is which song that is before and after

I can't wait to see if Estonia has 2nd or 3rd slot again :D Any other slot would be victory itself.
