I hope we will NEVER have the orchestra back in ESC! It may work for some songs, but for others not so much... if people don't want anything modern or experimental or electronic in ESC, then yeah bring it back and we'll also head back some decades.

Don't get we wrong, I think real instruments are making music more genuine, but not all type of music benefits from that.

Nope, I don't want orchestras back in ESC either, but for a guy like me who's never been a part of the orchestra-era watching the albanian nfs is like a turn back in time, and tbh it's a really pleasant change. I hope they won't get rid of them as it's already become their trademark by now.

Erik, to me it should be optional. Absolutely no intention for uptempo modern tracks to force them, but when someone has a ballad or original song beautiful orchestration can be a big bonus.

Actually, I would vote for an "optional" solution (and have been promoting it for some time aswell), though if I had to choose one or the other I say it's better as it is now.

I hear ya! Well, dunno if it's their "trademark" since FiK is pretty much Albania's version of Sanremo festival (which also uses orchestras) and well, the original ESC shows (that also were influenced by Sanremo) used orchestras aswell.

But I understand your point though.

The second song hath been the worst so far and even that woz quite okay. My faves for now r #1 and #4.

Strange. I thought the song was good, except the voice. She seemed at her vocal limits.

Possibly she was, but she still pulled it off in my ears.
