Her wailing is a bit scary in my opinion. I'm afraid she will be in my nightmares :p

But actually, I do like the darkness of the song; it has a nice atmosphere and something special. With a bit of fixing, this can be a serious outsider.

Re: ALBANIA 2012

I listened to it 5 mins ago. And now I don't remeber it. I just remember a lot of screaming. Ouch.

This song has a potantial TOP5 candidate.'cause it is a different ballad, something special...And Jury will give a high votes to this.

Wailing is a disgrace to music in general!

Wailing proves that these singers hide the fact that they can't hold notes.

I think it's the other way around, that the wailing is beautiful in this song anyway, and shows that they can definitely hold a note, especially for a long period of time! You don't hear Rona breaking at all during her wailing period.

so-so
if she could calm down it could be much much better. hope she does.

p.s. what does "Qaj" mean?

I like it though, the passion and emotion she puts in makes it so so much better. It means cry btw.

Turkish part, because they will vote for Albania regardless of the song.

I cannot speak for A-lister but IMO Rona does not wail at all. Wailing is what Nadine Beiler did, for example.

This lady has an amazing voice and anyone who finds this song a din has no soul. It is a beautiful song and is a very emotional piece of music.

Exactly, I talked about wailing in general and not Rona.

And @ anto475 : Actually wailing is NOT holding a note, it's note jumping, and usually artists that can't hold notes tend to wail alot to hide this.

Artists who can't hold a note can't sing at all
Anyway, I like when performers show wide range if it suits the song xshrug

sort of true aswell

Well, I guess it depends on the song, but just to show of vocal-gymnastics can often destroy a song. Especially there are ballads that sound good in studio version, but that are killed by over-wailing when sung live.

^ esp when it's boring as heck and you feel like you're on X-Factor audition that lasts FOREVER

I like weird entries so I don't mind Rona. Not a fond of changing vocals in certain moments of the song but she still will be better (vocally) than majority lol.

Her voice deserves 12 points, but the song deserves -12 points below zero... Yes dear, you have an amazing voice. But this is not a song. It's a prolonged scream for 3 minutes... But no doubt the juries will place it very high, since ESC for them is a talent show and not a song contest!

Poll results are funny, people either vote 12 pts or 0 :D

This will do VERY well in juries of 1st semi, but not good in televoting,
something similar like Lithuania 2011.
