Go Denmark tonight! It's would be tragic if Spain wins, cause imho Denmark showed more throughout this competition. At the moment they are the best team and they are consistent.. Croatia is just unlucky when it comes to getting into the final. But winning bronze medal again after European championship and Olympic games is amazing. I'm just so proud of our team, but this team is yet to get their gold, they are fresh, young and promising. We'll see what we'll have in next five years. :D AGAIN GO DENMARK! xcheer

Congratulations Spain! 35 - 19 against EUROPEAN champions Danes...Totally deserved victory, Danish team played like....amateurs. It is fact. No, THIS difference of 16 goals for World final is just too big....
I think we deserved to play this final but now it is impossible to come back. OK. Bronze for us and it is great! Happy. Satisfied.

Felicidades, Espana:)

:es: SPAIN/ESPANA Gold
:dk: DENMARK/DANMARK Silver
:hr: CROATIA/HRVATSKA Bronze

It's a pity that I missed the finale game, because then I might understand what happened that the result looks like Spain vs Qatar and not Spain vs Denmark

I'm confused because for me Denmark was the favourite for the gold medal... maybe the semi-final was too exhausting or they made to much party, I really don't know.

But the fact that Spain is world cup winner, emphasizes the performance of german team... In quarter final we were equal to Spain for 50 minutes :D

All in all, it was a great and exciting tournament and I like the K.O. mode very much, I hope they will use it every tournament

You didn't miss anything really... Denmark threw balls into the hands of Spain or the crowd.. It wasn't pretty at all :)

Wow! Well done Spain, well done!! :)

The all-star team was picked: Landin (Denmark), Dibirov (Russia), Entrerior (Spain), Duvnjak (Croatia), Nagy (Hungary), Lindberg (Denmark), Aginalde (Spain)
MVP: Hansen (Denmark)

Like the organization of this championship was bad, that way the selection of the best players was. I don't understand how Hansen was named MVP?? He is not fully recovered from his injury, didn't score many goals, didn't make many assists. :? There were better left backs than Entrerios. Sterbik in the final game was better than Landin (Alilovic was great throughout, and so was Stanic), also Eggert might be better than Dibirov (but for the sake of diversity, why not right). Good thing they chose Nagy. I was worried they gonna pick Kopljar - that would have been a terrible decision (even Stepancic is better than him). There were better pivots than Aginalde. :?

Congratulations Spain, a deserved victory! :D Even though I was rooting for Denmark in this match, the victory is more than clean.

I am really surprised that Denmark is outclassed like this. Even the biggest optimists didn't expect this. I have never seen Denmark being this helpless.

I don't know what exactly caused Denmark to have so many technical mistakes and lost balls but the Spanish defense was one of the key factors for this victory. Danish team didn't have any solution for it, and Sterbik was magnificent during the whole match.

I also don't understand why Hansen got the title of a MVP. On this championship he showed nothing.

Tbh Croatia deserved that final more than we did. Since last friday everyone (players, fans, the media) have had cocky, arrogant attitudes towards the match against Spain. A journalist for BT (one of our biggest tabloids) even wrote that "we might as well pop the champaign already", "nothing can go wrong" etc.

Hopefully the players learned their lesson too...they obviously thought the tournament ended after the semis and it kinda looked like they had been partying all weekend long with no time to sleep or recover whatsoever.
