Congrats Denmark on the gold. You were better today! :) You should really thank Lindberg with that counter-attack against Macedonia, otherwise you would have been ~11th with France together. Well done Serbia, although it really wasn't your day. In defense you played well and you had the impenetrable wall called Stanic, but in the attack there was no special effort. I think the excitement got to all of them, but anyway silver in handball is a great thing! :D It would have been 3/3 with the gold today. Congrats to Stanic for being the best goalie of the tournament (and my fave goalie too :D) and to Hansen as the best left back. Not sure if the players on the other positions deserved to be there (Toft-Hansen for the best pivot - like wtf??, and no Lazarov as the best right back??).
Congrats to Croatia for the bronze!!! :D
Macedonia did great for achieving a 5th place. Just 4 months ago, the basketball team ended 4th in Europe, plus few days ago the waterpolo players ended 11th (not that great, but still good). I agree Interrail, we should get one medal... maybe save it for the Olympics. We ended ahead of France, Iceland, Hungary, Poland, Sweden, Norway and I'm especially glad that we ended ahead of Germany. Now that team was pushed and forced by the referees, otherwise they would have been last.

Macedonia will play against Sweden, Hungary and Brazil on the Olympic qualifying tournament! Also, Macedonia will face Austria in the play-off for the WC 2013 in Spain. :)

Wohooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Champions of Europe!
I dunno what to say other than...wow. It's hard for me to express how proud I am to be danish today, what has happened in this tournament is a miracle. We had 0 points and then we rised from ashes ended up winning our 2nd gold-medal in 4 years. This is truly a great day for Danish handball :D

That final was such a thriller. This wasn't even the most impressive match from us, and even if we lead the game all the way through with one or two goals it was in the back of my mind that we would screw it up eventually. The Serbian fans were amazing, and I'm glad the off-pitch incidents in the match against Croatia was just one-time incidents. I'm so proud we managed to resist the massive vocal support the Serbian fans gave as that was in fact what I was worried about the most. Mikkel Hansen proved himself as a player from another planet yet again. He is unbelievable and without him we definitely wouldn't have gotten this far in the competition.

Finally, congratulations to Serbia on winning silver (and the two other gold medals you won in other sports), you can have great pride in both winning silver-medals as well as hosting a great event. Best of luck to Serbian handball in the future, hope you'll be able to keep up your effort in tournaments on away ground also. ;)

Silver medal is great success for our handball. I just don't believe before champs started that we can do it. And the most important for our team is that we finally had a "game", and I hope this is the new positive start for serbian handball. Guys make us proud this days. Thank you gays on everything. Next year is women world champs here and hope that girls can do it well to.

Congrats to Denmark too. Absolutely deserved title. I'm pretty sure that Denmark will win Olympics tournament.

And of course congrats to Croatia on bronze medal, who probably play the best handball on this champs and deserve that medal. They are all great handball players, but I'm very disappointed with their way of celebration (talking about singing in medal ceremony). That was not OK.

What? Germany is superpower in handball and I'm really sad they won't be in London. It won't be the same without Germany :(
Congrats to Macedonia. Lazarov is amazing. I wish he still plays for Zagreb. Also good luck on the Olympic qualifying tournament :D

And about qualifications for Olympics:

Serbia will play in Spain against host team, Poland and Algeria - what a group
Croatia will hosted tournament number 3, rivals are Iceland, Japan and Dominican Republic (wtf )

And like Aletem wrote Macedonia will play in Sweden.

Top 2 of each group will qualify
