Giving her apricots is like giving her a piece of Armenia. She gave her hope. She is sad because she wants to go back to her roots. She gives her the apricot stone and this stone brings her back to Armenia.

With the apricot stone in her hand she has a direct connection with her motherland.

Beautiful start, nice beat, great voice, and I love the mix between comtemporary pop with the cultural flair. Two things bug me...she says the word "apricots" too much, AND the syllabic emphasis is all wrong.
"AP -ri-cots" NOT "ap-ri-COTS"

I made a really good first impression, but it has all gone somewhere at the half, when annoying beat spoiled the song and changed it into very poor pop. I'm disappointed.

I love your response. No song is perfect (EVER), even if the heart behind it is. It's just plain stupid to not critique songs at this point if you want the best end result possible when it gets to the finals...even if it is "your peoples."

Sorry for changing the subject but thank you Qele. The reason the I registered is to tell Hayq not to talk bad about other Armenians and degrade our diaspora infront of other people. I've noticed him doing that over the years.
BTW HAYQ I'm a diaspora Armenian, live in US for 16 years. I visit Armenia every year and trust me there are more rabiz in Armenia then in diaspora, to comment on your argument.

Criticizing does not mean degrading. If I didn't love my country or my people, I would not give any criticism at all. If there are good things, we have to name them, if there are less good things we have to name them too. That doesn't matter whether it is in front of others or not. Even if I would only name positive things about Armenia and the people, you think others would not notice the less positive things if there were any?

I tried to find as many similarities as possible, but I really could not say it is a copy The only similarity that I found was that both songs start slow and get upbeat after the slow part.

And also maybe Hind and Eva look like each other in your opinion ?

Average to me, probably the best armenian entry so far. But I am just incredibly bothered by the word 'apricot' which is a word I personally don't want to hear in a song and the fact that she sings it over and over again slightly annoys me.
The melody and arrangement is decent so I'll give it 6 points.

I am also bothered by its repetitiveness. I understand it has a meaning behind it, but it would probably sound less annoying in Armenian. And this isn't just me bashing the lyrics of this particular entry. I think proper English speaking lyricists would be the way to go for some of these songs because I find a lot of them are ruined with these silly English lyrics that I often can't even understand tbh.

Wow, I simply love this song. If you ask me this is the best Armenian entry to date, which says quite a lot. Armenia has become one of my favourite ESC-countries.

Finally an entry worth giving 12 points!
