WE WON'T KNOW THE FINAL DECISION UNTIL TOMORROW!
NTU is currently working with lawyer, they still don't know what to do. But it seems that they are not going to change the singer. Probably Alesha will change her song.

MY HEART IS BROKEN. I'm very dissapointed about Alyosha. This Brilliant wasn't evaluated. I lost any desire to watch Eurovision now. I feel myself empty.
First singer from Ukraine I liked. Anyway she will stay my winner forever.
So Mattias or Lazarovich will be sent to eurovision I don't care who'll be sent to Eurovision. I can't see any degree.
The most failure Eurovision ever.

You did a NF to make it more democratic...now you will go against everything and make Alyosha get a new song...
I don't know, but wouldn't it be better to just choose the 3rd placer or Vasyl The Bat (I call him that cause he looks like a wampire to me..). Less work and maybe you can send Alyosha next year, cause she has a good voice!

I couldn't even celebrate Alyosha. I think i was only one of a few of her supporters and i was really happy when i found out she won. But it's been only a little then she was disqualified
I just wish tons of patience for my Ukrainian friends.. It must be really heard for them seeing all these stuff

Well fortunately this IS EUROPEAN country. Like it or not. I am a PATRIOT of my country and I LOVE my country no matter what. If you lack competence about my country than it's your problem. Why would you even care about our preselection?

Last night the ukrainian national final was held in Kyiv, to decide who will represent the Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest on Oslo, Norway. The winner was Alyosha with the song 'To Be Free.'
Today, in Ukraine, media speculation was enriched over Alyosha's song 'To Be Free' as it maybe breaking one of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) rules which govern all participating countries at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The state broadcaster in Ukraine, NTU, today have released a statement regarding the above issue.
"Singer Alyosha, who on Saturday, March 20th, won the national selection for Eurovision 2010, today appeared in the center of a scandal. In musical circles of the young singer, real name is Olena Kucher, is accused of plagiarism when comparing the song 'To be free,' she entered in the qualifying competition with a composition 'Knock Me Out' performed by Linda Perry and Grace Slick. In connection with this we announce that the legal and international management of NTU and jury as a whole is studying the issue."
NTU is now examining the compliance of the song with EBU rules. If the song fails to meet the requirements of the EBU rules; "the artist who won the national selection will be offered in the short term to change the song," - said the general director of the National Television Company of Ukraine Yegor Benkendorf.
NTU will publish the results of their investigation tomorrow.

Under NORMAL conditions... Ukraine should be disqualified from the ESC (3rd entry :?: ) But hey, who are we to say something about it right!
I was long glad they had chosen a male singer to start with... then they returned to the brothels apparently (missed that step somehow) from where they got something that somehow cheated in a way... now that something gets a 2nd chance? Yah... that's modern day Eurovision for ya!
I think this is sad for both the ESC and Ukraine (which has been a good contestant ever since they first entered the show [except for 2009]). Let's hope they get it right the 3rd time (though I find 2 chances more than enough).

EBU rules state that the broadacster should pay 30% of participation fee. They do NOT DISQUALIFY anyone
