According to Belta press-conference they will sing in English in Oslo. It seems they will leave Russian and Belarusian versions for the single.

They should send the song in Belarussian, it would make it somewhat more interesting for sure and would be the first time we would here Belarussian in ESC!

I haven't listened the Russian version but i really love the song in English. I think Belarus should have been in the final last year and i think the same for this year. Best of luck!

I really like this. Very promising. Having said that, Belarus often seem to struggle to attract the votes they deserve, so I'm not completely confident it'll make it to the final. Definitely in my top three at the moment, though.

As more and more countries submit ballads, so this entry strikes me as an excellent song that will inject a much needed dose of energy into Eurovision week. Arguably the only entry, so far, that has any real 'attack'. It also feels 'honest', unlike most of the entries which, to my mind (and ears) simply create the impression that the writers have sat down and tried to build a 'Eurovision' song from the bottom up - which is just a recipe for creating tired old ESC gloop (a description which covers at least half of the entries announced so far).

This seems to be favoured over the current entry:

Azerbaijan, Belarus, France & Ukraine have all changed or did not really chose anything officially :roll:

But seriously... if they change they should change to "Veryu Ya"... I can't believe they chose this thing over "Veryu Ya" in the first place

The song WILL be changed

Official announcement will be released on ONT today.
The new song is called "Babochki" ("Butterflies"). It's written by Max Fadeev (the man who produced Russian 2007 entry).
The song has been already performed by Glyukoza previously.
