Gah why did they have to waste such beauty that was Veryu Ya :(

Is it impossible now for BTRC to chose one of the "Musica Court" entries internally?

If not, I hope they pick "Veryu Ya"!

I'm pretty sure one of the rules of submitting it to Music Court was that ONT owns the rights so they can't, unfortunately, as I would've loved to have "My Time" in Oslo :(

But wasn't it suppose to be a co-operation between BTRC and ONT? If so, then ONT could still "give" songs to BTRC... because that was the idea from the get-go anyhow right?

BTRC actually wanted to co-operate with ONT.
ONT can simply give rights to BTRK if it asks, at least they also expressed desire to help BTRK

Yes, that's exactly how I remember it. So based on what has been said before, BTRK could end up choosing a song from "Musical Court" maybe?

If that would be the case, I really cross my fingers for "Veryu Ya" !!

PoolyA recorded the song in Sweden. Producer -> Joakim Björklund. Henrik Andersson co-wrote the song. It's called Hold on to Your Dreams.

uhm, better than Dyadya Vanya  but still not enough, imo. Can't wait to hear the song.

BTRC has just published the rules!

They accept songs until February 15th.
There's no citizenship rule and they will choose the entry until March 10th. Also the reserve entry will be chosen.

Re: ???????? - Belarus 2010

Gyunesh decided to participate in internal selection by BTRC.
This is her 5th try to represent Belarus'.
She sent a song called "Every Day".

Here's the chorus:

Every day… this way
Being straight
Making you fell so great
Every day… this way
Playing beautifier game
Calling only your name
Every day…

Also Anna Semenovich (Russian NF 2009) doesn't mind to represent Belarus' and not famous Russian singer Aleks.
Unofficial info: daughter of Angelica Agurbash applied as well.

According to vice-president of BTRC Israeli, Russian & Ukrainian performers applied for internal selection but "most definitely Belarus' will be represented by Belarussian or someone with Belarussian roots".

Litesound or Gyunesh, imo.

Re: ???????? - Belarus 2010

"3+2" band arrived to Ukraine in order to record their song on one of the most modern studios in Eastern Europe.

The song is composed by Ruslan Kvinta who also participates in Ukrainian selection (+ he composed few songs for Lazarovich in the past).
btw they participated in the ONT selection in the last round (with the song "Far Away").

Re: ???????? - Belarus 2010

According to BTRC performers from Iceland, Spain, Ireland and Poland applied in order to represent Belarus'.

Today is the deadline and so far they received only 20 songs ( hmmm :? )... though it's usual for Eastern broadcasters when almost half of the general amount is sent in the last day so this amount will increase of course

People from BTRC and other media (including ONT) in the "focus group" will choose the winner.

Re: ???????? - Belarus 2010

so, we have the 1st rumors. Supposedly BTRC chose "3+2" (the project which is supported by ONT).

UPDATE: and this rumor was denied by BTRC stating that documents haven't been signed, the entry can be announced until the end of the week.

The song is absolutely not bad! One of the best from Belarus to be honest! :)

Sounds like a eastern rock-version of Alcazar

Finally something to really like in ESC! :D
