I was a big fan of hers back then and wanted her to win Really crazy that she wanted to participate in the ESC for Ireland this year... anyway, would have been funny. Unfortunately Ireland is in the 2nd semifinal with many favorites of this year. And i can´t vote in this semifinal, because Germany has to vote in the first. But i hope, that Niamh will get enough points to reach the final (also with the help of the juries).

I think this is impossible. The song and her voice are too good to be ignored by the audience, even amidst the thousands of ballads.
However, I can't predict how it will do in the final.

Niamh IS awesome... but the ESC has changed a bit since 1993 I'm afraid.
Besides the fact her songs isn't as strong as "In your eyes" ever was, she does't exactly look like a cover-model (don't wish to us the name "Playboy" here since the Ukraine might get offended about it). Niamh IS a great singer, but she probably also will deliver the proof ESC is at its' end. We'll see on May 27th, but I hold no high hopes.
