Tbh before I read the translated lyrics I had hoped he would be singing about f***ing me (or any other listener) into oblivion because let’s face it, I‘d be here for it but (especially) as a German I also relate to the actual meaning. I have a very hard time letting go when I know people technically could be watching me. I wish I could get back the ease of my early teens, back when I was a youngster Musical actor and I didn’t care about other people‘s opinions. And since he is raising important points in my life, that makes me like the song even more and is my number one until Loreen gets (hopefully) chosen. The song is about people incapable to open up. This is a cultural or anthropological problem in Finnish society he sings about.
Though, it's very common in some other European countries as well.
There are some I won't name where people in the course of week are incapable to lead a small chit chat with neigbours or coworkers and then on Friday afternoon they go to pub and drink like crazy to relax and socialize a little. It's one more point he raises in his lyrics.
I love it.
When I wake up tomorrow I want that to be at least second in the odds with 25%![]()

Maybe we just don't think the croatian song is catchy? And those songs are nothing alike, why would we automatically love both?Eurovision fans: OMG! such a fun and catchy song. We didn't see and hear anything like this in years! Well done Finland! 12 points!
Also Eurovison fans: OMG! such a fun and and catchy song. We didn't see and hear anything like this in years! How dare you Croatia! 0 points!

With Finland, we can at least guess the genre more or less. With Croatia - nope, no genreThey're completely different genres...
A generousfrom me for this mess. The song only sounded ok-ish during the middle and that's it. No desire to listen to the song ever again.
