Thank you everyone my friends for watching and following this show from the very beginning. It was very tense, dramatic and emotional. Those of you who lived through 4 hours of this are true heroes. I just hope our politicians won't sabotage people's choice - that would be a shame (anyway most of them are going to retire very soon i hope - because of elections).
Honestly I feel that I did my job well again. And I'm not only about SMS sent , I mean my supernatural power that allows me to choose the right outcome of a given event by doing certain actions. See you in Tel-Aviv and wish you BANG! We all have won tonight.

I really like this. While KAZKA was my personal winner (especially after she improved her vocals) this is a very good choice. I actually prefer this toned-down performance over the previous one in the semi final. The outfit is also better. I'm not sure how this will play out with the juries but she should do really well in the televote (top 10). 10 points for now

how is it possible that she was even better in the final than in the semi? this is our runner-up (winner if juries could deal with the female sexuality tbh).
12 points only because i can't give her all 504 of them. only conan osíris or an internal selection miracle could dethrone her from being my #1 this year.
(ps: i am very happy that kazka pulled it together in the final as much as sasha could and it showed in the televote. they should have done better than freedom jazz, which i also loved.)

We received the following statement from Ukrainian broadcaster UABC:
UABC provides MARUV as the winner of the national selection with an agreement for consideration, specifying the terms of participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. The official announcement of the representative of Ukraine at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest will take place after signing the participation agreement.
It's MARUV! They will sign a deal (an ordinary deal just like with Jamala, Melovin etc) ... with her crazy schedule it's a must. She should guarantee that the whole Euroweek will be clear from other concerts.
Imho they will sign a deal on Monday-Tuesday or Thursday, I don't remember correctly. Or the 1st discussion of ESC staging will happen on Thursday.

This song doesn't get out of my head, especially when I go to bed. So happy it won - my new favourite and I can't see who can dethrone Maruv at this point.

Ukraine’s at their best in ESC when they send females! The song and performance really lives up to the song title which is great. She looks fierce, staging’s on point and I can’t remember any flaws with her vocals...?

Yep. They don't want someone performing regularly in Russia representing them.
