I feel the same. With each year that passes I just want us to be reasonable, I'm pretty much losing my enthusiasm.

Romania - Romanian singer Mihai Trăistariu, who represented Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, suggested his interest to represent Romania or other country in 2016. Altough, TVR has not confirmed yet its participation in the Contest.

He has been saying that since 2006. I don't think I've seen him once since then, so I'm not expecting to see him now.

I don't understand that disappointment. Romania is one of the few countries who never failed in the semis. That's something to be proud of, isn't it?

They haven't been Top 10 since 2010 so I guess that's the disappointment for Romanians

That is rumoured literally every year. And it's actually always Mihai starting the rumours, but when he doesn't appear in the NF list he always says somehting along hte lines of "I didn't find a good song"

Wow, a Cezar comeback would be incredible.


I'd also really like to see the return of Mona Mihaela Trifu. She's my ultimate wish for Romania's Eurovision entry next year.

I think both Cezar and Mihai, with a decent song, would be good, but I kind of want someone new.

I will do all I can do to convince the queen Marina Voica to come next year. She will be 80 years old in September 2016. But watch this (from second 50) until at final. She is amazing:

I personally will search a song for her if she will tell me that she is feeling able to give a try.

I really like Cezar, but Eurovision is not a proper place for him. Fans and casual viewers in Europe can't appreciate his talent.

He was 7th with the public vote in 2013, it was the juries who voted him down.
