I thought this is a surprising win but also a pleasant one I am very happy for. The song was the unlucky 11th place in my ranking and I wish I could have scored it :)

I am actually very happy I didn't end up last. I was very unsure prior to the final who actually enjoys my entry enough to give it points. Turned out there are quite a few I owe a thank you. Tohokus :8: was probably the biggest surprise here for me (sooo random)

Thanks Bernie for that flawless and wonderful hosting! The Semi Final results revelation especially was very creative and tricky, shame so few people actually interacted. I could not because I had dinner on that time in both semi finals.
Very efficient hosting too, you didn't let us wait too long for the results and I appreciate this.

you know, I'm usually trying to be present and engaged in all the results shows and LLs. this edition, I missed it all as in the meantime I was roaming the streets of Cairo and my airport-bought sim card didn't even bother to work. being in Egypt kinda kept me connected to Worldvision anways, so to enchance the scenery - one headphone in - the list of my egyptian entries kept on playing on repeat. Mosaïque wasn't even there, but then I thought the MV aligns too good with what i'm seeing at the moment pyramids hello not to send it.

and lol, the song really felt non-competitive, like a breather between my "stronger" entries. and yet maybe the charm lies in that "safe haven" kind of feeling. almost like you finally made your way to the oasis after a whole trek through the desert

you know what feels even more gratifying than winning? bringing the victory to Africa for the first time ever. and having Looren, who is Northern African, as the biggest supporter of my entry, is the most validating feeling. this makes me much more happy than the win itself xheart


great job with the hosting Bernadette, you put the quality bar really high and it's gonna be super hard to keep the level. but I guess there's no other way - but to tryxpolice yes, I'm hosting. we're going doggy style :]]

Congrats on your win! Egypt has been my top 3 pointer for all last editions and it was about time for you to win with this country!
What a great pleasure for me to start my Turkmenistan journey in such a vibe country as Egypt! Congratulations!

And I am also sooo proud of Turkiye to make it so so so far! The song is a geeeeeem!

It is in line with my taste, though? I mean, it was definitely one of the most obvious entries in my ranking for me :unsure:
